Celery Town is still something of a unformed concept right now. We had some celery from Before and I figured why not give it a shot. I put the stump into dirt and nothing happened for the longest time. But it didn’t rot or dry out, either.
Just recently the center has shown this slow small quarter inch of new growth. So maybe? I’m trying to treat it carefully, no roots are developing which concerns me, and I’m worried about fungus so I’m trying to hold back on soaking it down too much. Seeing this small growth is encouraging though, but I keep Celery Town on the periphery of my thoughts. I feel like if I focus too much on it, I’ll overdo something and that makes me nervous since it’s the only celery plant we have. So it’s just there to the side for now.
These all seem to need different amounts of attention and self-restraint. Of course.
