HE’S BEEN DANCING FOR HOURS -------------- surely their downstairs neighbors must hate him at this point. on his day’s off from teaching , he was still working at home ; always planning routines & lessons. mike wasn’t home yet as far as he knew, so he’s zoned in on his work.
earbuds are in , drowning out any life around him. he’s drenched in sweat at this point , but he doesn’t seem to mind. honestly it’s impressive that his body has held up for this long.
plotted starter for: @celestaei // light yagami
she could feel him fading, her CHILD OF DEATH.
for months and nearly years this young man used one of her tools of mortal death --- a NOTEBOOK, and he used it beautifully. for months the goddess watched over him, bringing his whim to pass alongside the hand of a japanese shinigami, an entity she viewed with interest, albiet much less than light yagami.
she could feel him embracing his end --- but she wasn’t ready to let him die, his mind and ethics much too interesting to be wasted in hel. when light took his final breath she would appear via cloudy portal, black hair flowing with the power as her aura of DESPAIR emanated the warehouse. wordless was she as she glided in slow motion, the goddess outstretching her arms to cradle his head. she then moved to sit to lay his tired head upon her lap, deadly fingers running through his hair as she brought him back with her power.
“ DEATH will not welcome you on this day, my dear gifted child. ”
@celestaei: “ i beg your pardon ? ” { Luciana and Caro }
Luciana wasn’t surprised that her words, softly spoken, were lost in the din of the crowded ballroom. The small, pale woman smiled and leaned a bit closer, head tilted upwards. “I said you look delicious enough to eat.”

⠀The football players in the Glee Club were all sort of mysteries, even to Kurt, who'd briefly even been a football player. He knew Puckerman, of course, from the sheer amount of dumpster tosses, and he knew Finn because you couldn't exactly not know Finn, but Matt and Mike were two mysteries, but both undeniably good dancers, and they both seemed nice enough. But they were still football players, and not even a few weeks on the team (before an eventful and dramatic resignation in the showers) had properly allowed Kurt to get to know either of them too well.
He hadn't exactly had much opportunity or time either. It'd just been constant drama, drama, invitationals, drama, the glee club getting split down the middle, the football players almost leaving, more drama and time flying by. Even now, it was one of those weeks where everything seemed to be happening - bake sale, the wheelchairs for Artie, their diva-off for the Defying Gravity solo. Everything was happening at once apparently, and Kurt in particular was distracted.
It was lunchtime, and while some of the others were bickering over selling cupcakes in the lunchroom, Kurt could be found in the choir room practicing scales at the piano. He had a goal and a high F to try and hit, and behind the safety of that locked door, he could practice in relative safety. At least, unless anybody had to come back in . . .

❛ i’m sorry to bother you, but, is there any chance you have a phone i can use? mine died, and i can’t get in touch with my roommate. ❜
@celestaei / BRODY & MIKE
❛ I THINK THAT WENT SURPRISINGLY WELL , all things considered. ❜ his smile is soft as he lays his head on the others shoulder , gaze currently examining the new silver band around his ring finger. they’re on a flight to hawaii , first class. cassie had been kind enough to gift her frequent flier miles to brody as an apology , allowing them to book the nice seats for their honeymoon. the wedding & reception had gone by without a hitch , much to brody’s surprise. the glee kids knew how to party , ironically. ❛ rachel was even nice. weird. ❜

Sebastian chewed on his cheeks as he stared at the brick building, before tightening his one handed grip on the strap of his backpack over his left shoulder and walking in. He was wearing gym joggers and a tight tank top, hair barely styled as it wouldn’t last long in there anyway. As part of his new consensus with Dalton ── the one that had allowed him to stay in the school after everything that’d happened ── he’d somehow agreed to come to Westerville’s artistic center, and assist a dance teacher with pro bono classes.
He wasn’t necessarily antagonistic to the idea, as he was trying to exercise this being good thing, as annoying and boring as that was, but he could also already see where this was going. He was going to be stuck with some old fart that hadn’t danced since their own glee club times and probably be made to fetch them coffee and donuts, despite being wildly overqualified and probably a better dancer than had ever stepped foot in the place. Good person, he thought, with a long already bored sigh. If it were up to him, he’d have his own ideas about how to go about that, but he also knew he was already on thin ice with both Dalton and his father. He’d been kicked out of schools before, for partying and things on that vein and he knew his father was more or less on his last thread of patience.
After giving his name at the front desk, he walked up the stairs and down the hall he’d been pointed to, and looked at the paper in his hand, where the class number was written on. Room 316. He found it pretty easily, and gave it a cursory knock before walking in, passing kids and some younger teens scattered stretching and changing clothes, and going to the front of the class, speaking even as he set his backpack down bellow the front mirror, “room 316? I’m your new assistant for the near future, Sebastian Smythe, it’s a pleasure I’m sure. What would you have me-” he stopped talking as he raised his eyes over long thighs, long muscles, and a familiar face... Great The fates had to be fucking with him now, and by the looks of it, they were having a blast.
