i really like your response! i felt like something was wrong about that post but couldn’t put my figure on it so for whatever reason i reblogged it anyway but i think you really put it to words
I’m glad my response resonated with someone. It was late at night when I posted it so I’m sure I could have articulated myself better, but I really think the whole tone of that original post so dismissive and combative that it’s counterproductive.

Thanks! I’ve been writing stories for it for a while now and I’ve still got a bunch to finish before we send it to the manufacturers but it’s been really exciting seeing everyone’s responses to the Kickstarter

UGH i knooow and like michael sheen and david tennant said in an interview that they were both playing the characters as if they were in love with the other (and that’s Obvious) but like they really coulda gone the extra mile and just. kissed
The closest they came to actually acknowledging gayness was one of the angels taunting Aziriphale about his “boyfriend” and the bit about the “discreet gentleman’s club” he belonged to and both moments were jokes. I’m just tired to gayness being treated like a joke, and in a show that’s specifically touting itself as being diverse and inclusive it’s a bad look.
