|| A Dragon's Wounds, A Princesses Heart ||
The male had been bed ridden for the past few days after a certain incident on a mission with his trusty partner, Lucy. A mission gone to hell, Natsu received near death sealing wounds while trying his best to protect the Celestial Wizard. Burning shut the sliced wounds along his body during the fight, The Salamander finally put down all of his enemies, flames burning bright as the boy stood over his victory, right before falling at the bone shattering pain. A day later, he woke up in the Fairy Tail infirmary, bandaged to hell, with a busty blonde right next to the bed, smiling down at him.
About an hour later, the boy was released on good behavior, and returned to his lovely house in the woods, but with a new companion. Lucy had decided to stay over Natsu and Happy's house for the next few days, to clean it and such, and take care of the man who saved her life, he supposed. But, slowly but surely, Lucy was gaining on this boys nerves. When was she going to leave already!?
A few days had passed since the incident, the bandages still present on his body, Natsu had been trying to act like nothing happened, but that didn't really help when an annoying blonde pestered you about how you feel every damn second.
"----Yes, Lucy, I'm fine..."

An easy mission, that's all the blonde asked for for a change, and it simply ended in bloodshed. The retrieval of a few documents in an underground tunnel, and the reward was immense! The Celestial Mage jumped at the chance to nab this flyer off the board and sprint it over to her Flame Broiled Partner. The boy agreed as per usual, but the events to follow after this simple interaction would haunt him for the coming weeks. So sudden----so fierce, it took the two by surprise. These very documents------
Were from the book of Zeref itself.
The two were ambushed at the scene of the missions specifications, by a Guild who's name would not soon be forgotten. One filled with true monsters, ones much more demonic then Zeref's book, but proclaim that's where they originated from. These demons don't know the meaning of Pity, nor the word stop. They were out for blood, no matter how much was spilled. A Dark Guild, the third in the Barem Alliance----Tartaros.
Natsu was ready to defeat ever single member, but they surely proved to be too much for just him to handle, and that's when it happened----
"LUCY----!!!"
Blood was surely spilled, but it wasn't The Salamanders----the life giving elixir drained from the blonde in a puddle before the eyes of her trusty partner, to which he responded with a cold glance before fading out into unconsciousness by a spell one of the Demons had cast to render his Magic useless. When the boy awoke, he was laid out in a Hospital bed, in the Fairy Tail Guild no less. To their avail, Fairy Tail had caught wind of this Dark Guild plan, and sent reinforcements, but to no avail of their already wounded forms.

The boys beaten and broken form rattled beneath the dozens of bandages clad around his wounded body. Yelling at this octave was taking a severe toll on his physical condition, but the pain was nothing compared to the thought of his partners own ailments. Natsu needed to see her, alive and kicking, or he'd break out of this bed and find her himself!
