He looked at the blond girl, and before he realized what was happening words spilled forth. 

"Thank you, Lucy… you’ve had by back more than I could ask for." 

His face twisted into an odd expression for a moment. 

What was wrong with him? Just blurting out things he normally kept to himself.  Not that he didn’t mean every word.

Sick day|| Natsu and Lucy

Another day another start. Sun was slowly hitting the blonde’s soft skin. Begging her to wake up. She opened her eyes and slowly looked around trying to fit back to reality. 

She felt dizzy and not capable of moving. Her nose was itchy and somehow her neck was hurting. She was sick . 

Pushing up the blanket over her body she sighed in dissappointment.

It wasn't anything out of the ordinary for the Dragon Slayer to simply let himself in, when it came to visiting his celestial comrade. The door flew up, and he made quick work of the stairs that led to her second story apartment. 

"Lucy?!" He chimed, as he poked his head inside - making his presence known.  She'd smacked him so many time for simply barging in, that he thought he would at least give her a verbal warning of his entry. 

"You here?! I got us a job!" He announced happily as he made his way inside the apartment, rounding the corner to find his blond haired friend.  Finding her still nuzzled in bed, he approached, looking down at her with a sigh. 

He was about to bombard her with comments about 'sleeping the day way' when he saw the paled out sink and the red that was pooling in her cheeks. 

"Whoa. You feelin' okay?" He asked her, concerned. "Your face is all paled out."
