He sends the RSVP back right away. But since it says “Guys’ Night,” Hayate isn’t necessarily expecting Yugao to be there. Maybe someone should tell him, or she might be waiting in vain for Hayate to take her to the party!

While Genma handled the kitchen and entrance, the bathroom and bedroom were in good hands. Kotetsu’s hands. No one would’ve guessed how hardcore of a traditional romantic Kotetsu was and, by consequence, the bathroom was lit by scentless candles and a basket of bath and shower goodies were left on the sink. Bubble bath, heart shaped bath bombs, dissolvable rose petals and heart shaped confetti, it was all there. Both the bathroom and bedroom were blasted in rose petals, their respective doorways littered with them. And finally, a ring of roses left in the shape of a heart were on the bed with a single, cheeky condom left in the center.

Hayate smiled when Yugao showed him a lovely flower, but then he laughed when she put it in his hair. He touched the flower that sat behind his ear, his face turning a little red. “Does it look good?” he grinned.

Instead of answering, Yugao mysteriously tapped him on the shoulder. “What?” Hayate asked. But he began to see what she had in mind by the come-hither look in her eyes. She pulled his flak jacket until their bodies were flush with each other. Hayate’s face turned redder as she tipped her head up to him, bringing their lips close together. Hayate wrapped his arms around Yugao and surrendered to her tender kiss.

I saw a post on Facebook that said, “My wife is so much better looking than me that the cashier just put a plastic divider between our groceries” and I felt that in my soul
