“Ha, lookit you! That’s right, smear that beautiful swamp dirt all over your face!” The fact that the guy was putting on an over-the-top farce was entirely lost on the witch. “Grovel and beg like the worm you are!”

How long has it been since Amaterasu had last checked on her grandson? Perhaps far too long, but like the sun in the sky, she wanders. She explores the world since it’s burst of life and- for every intent of her heart- embraces it like another child. So many places, so many other deities around...! It truly is marvelous.
It’s a long timed owed homecoming, though. A mother to all should never be away from home for long...and though she still listens to every prayer, Amaterasu sighs in comfort once she is back, familiar soil under her paws and the feeling of home running through her veins.
Though when she arrives to see Ninigi... She at least has the decency to change forms and not bother him too much with words mixed among canine noises.
“The more things change, the more they do not,” she muses, looking around a moment before returning her gaze to him. “This place continues to feel like home... How are you, Ninigi~?”
❛ is there something i can help you with ? ❜ tone underlines irritability - not an uncommon note sung by the feline, ❛ or are my ears really such a distraction ? ❜ the staring was always discomforting.

Rekka’s face had already grown red before she’d jerked her finger away, cradling it protectively to her chest as she scowled at Ninigi. Why’d he go nipping at her finger like that?
“Don’t go being so weird!” That was rich, coming from her and she knew it. “I just wanted to get your attention, not feel you up, dummy!”

“I wouldn’t recommend going in there. Someone thought it would be romantic to fill the library of rose petals and scented candles.” Julieta had taken a look into the library, and noped out almost immediately. She knew that Fate had something to do with this, but she was not in the mood to deal with another bizarre romantic situation. “Also chocolate. I am pretty sure the floor is covered with chocolate, but I didn’t stay there long enough to make sure.”

“Hey, uh... Ninigi? Do you have some time to spare?”
She looked like a woman on a mission, determination present in the set of her jaw and the furrow of her brow. Whatever was on her mind seemed to be serious--at least for her. Many would say that her priorities and goals could be ab it... skewed, after all. Rekka was aware of this and knew that what she wanted to request might well be turned down on that basis.

‘Did I ruin the mood yet?’
“Nope. I am always 100% down for sex. Still, now I kinda want to fight you.”

Rekka huffed, glancing away as she folded her arms over her chest. It was clear he’d likely stopped listening awhile ago even as impassioned as she’d been throughout. Though she had to stop to gather her thoughts more clearly this time, perhaps in a bid not to go off on some other tangent in her frustrations at him and herself.
“Idiot,” she finally scoffed after a long minute or two had passed. She didn’t seem any happier that he’d conceded to her point. “You weren’t supposed to take me seriously and do dumb shit like that...”
And there seemed to be the root of the problem now, after he’d been rescued and healed. Guilt likely had settled into the pit of her stomach the moment she’d heard about his his reckless antic to prove his point. And over what? Because she’d been concerned about a rock hurled at his head and she’d gone to be passive aggressive about it afterwards when he blew her off about it.
