âItâs both a show of gratitude, and a gift. Besides, Iâve no use for it, since my Zoroark already has a varied move pool to draw upon, as do most of my PokĂŠmon friends. And, as I recall, Purrloin can make use of this TM to learn Shadow Claw. So, perhaps it will be of more use to you than it would me.â
N couldnât help but laugh at how grateful Chelka seemed to be at the prospect of having a new move to try out. Heâd understood the otherâs intent loud and clearâŚAnd, thankfully for Rekka, he had no intention of asking for the TM back at all. ThoughâŚHe paused a bit at Rekkaâs question. She was curious about what he was up to now? WellâŚAdmittedly, he hadnât been expecting that. As it was, he didnât really have many plans, and heâd yet to even decide on where he would go next.
ButâŚMaybe he could figure that out in time.
âAh, curious about my plans moving forward, are you? Admittedly, theyâre nothing grandiose, as one might thinkâŚAs it was, I planned to return to Team Plasmaâs old castle to check on the infrastructure, ensure it wasnât going to collapse in on the caverns beneath Victory Road, and thenâŚI suppose Iâd either go to the Dragonspiral Tower to reminisce on an old friend, or go to Driftveil City to stay with some former members of Team Plasma in the Plasma Safehouse while I decide on where Iâll journey next.â
A gift, huh? Fair enough--and just like that it was tucked away into a side pocket of her too-large bag. Sheâd probably lose it somewhere between the pencil cases and sketchbooks but that was a worry for future Rekka.
âYou want a tag-along for some of it? Iâm mildly intrigued as to what kind of trouble youâll get yourself into.â Essentially she just wanted a front row seat for something interesting, even if it would largely be at the expense of someone else.
Chelka offered a roll of her eyes, most likely well aware of Rekkaâs intentions. The pair had been partners for a long enough time that it shouldnât be a surprise.
