in my notes this was in paragraph form but I feel like this makes more sense to me when it's presented in a table? Idk for you, hope it helps!
so sorry for the delay in posting these! the downside to living in the middle of nowhere is that you have middle of nowhere problems, like losing internet for two whole days!

I feel the need to explain cellular reproduction because people are misusing the terms meiosis & mitosis. Both do relate to reproduction of cells but for different types.
Meiosis: For sex-cells, like sperm & egg, that result in genetically distinct daughter cells | Only has one copy of chromosomes
Mitosis: For somatic cells, everything else that isn't the sperm or egg, that result in genetically identical daughter cells | Has two copies of chromosomes
And if discussing asexual reproduction for bacteria that involves fission of two types*: binary & multiple.
Binary Fission: The partner cell goes through division creating two new daughter cells
Multiple Fission: The parent cell produces multiple new nuclei until the parent cell ruptures releasing its daughter cells
*there exist other forms like sporulation, but ehh i mostly see folks get twisted up on this stuff. Also this is one hell of a simplification of this shit only going off memory
