This is the @puma Cell Venom I designed! I’m obsessed with the Detroit Black Bottom story, so every chance I get I attempt to raise awareness! This thriving African American community was destroyed for city redevelopment at the peak of its greatness! Although the story is sad, it’s a lot of positive pieces to it. Like how African Americans came together to shop, live and keep the black dollar in the community (as @killermike would say). So I chose these colors to represent the beauty of the buildings, homes, the Paradise Valley night life, and community of creatives, musicians, entrepreneurs and leaders that made that iconic neighborhood work!
