Celtic Banners project
I have been making hydrangea flowers for this project. The shrubs are in every self respecting Breton garden and on many postcards from the region. Cutting the florets out with a fine tipped soldering iron means they are sealed and don’t fray so they are quite robust to handle. Each one is fixed to a felt base with a single French knot to make up the flower heads.
