Moonlight Lovers
Illustration of the Celtic tale "The Priest's Soul” A man thinks himself so clever he teaches there’s no Heaven, Purgatory, Hell and even that men have no souls. Upon his death a soul leaves his body and that was the first butterfly ever seen in Ireland.
Meet the witch brothers.
Hazel and Rosemary.
Hazel and Rosemary were once human witches, living among the non-magical humans. They provided medicine to the children whilst the parents or adults give them a bitter look. But as the years past, they did not use any magic for that the witch hunt has became a norm in their kingdom.
But tragedy struck, someone was spreading rumors about them using magic for malicious intention despite the lack of evidence of spell casting and no evidence of hostile behavior.
They were blamed for anything that happened around their area, droughts, diseases, famine, and so on. So the worst came as they were arrested, and were burned at the stake for witchcraft.
Their skeletal burnt corpse still hung up after the trials as a message to all witches. However one necromancer by the name of DarkLord Gaster. He resurrected the two witches, and turned them into the undead. He brought them to his home where they are temporarily safe, at least, they thought it was safe.
Rosemary was snooping around in the middle of the night, trying to find the kitchen for something to drink. (Undeads are given some flesh and organs here and there so they can still have human needs.) and discovers something vile. The DarkLord was the one who was framing witches, having the humans kill them off, and resurrect them so he can use them as a powerful army against the magicless humans.
He get’s spotted and runs off. He wakes his brother up, then yanks him out of bed and begins to flee. DarkLord Gaster shoots a spell at them, but it only hits Rosemary. He falls to the ground, under the curse of eternal slumber, Hazel freaks out, and drags his brother into hiding. Luckily they managed to get away, but now Rosemary can’t wake up. Hazel drags his brother far away to an abandoned shed, and hid there for years on end. Day after day, Hazel makes potions in hopes to undo Rosemary’s curse. But alas, each one has failed thus far.

“Okay I think I got it working this time!”
“So, what was the spell again?”
“It’s a medium spell! We can communicate with the other side now.”
“So, we can talk to the dead? Neat.”
“Don’t call them that! They have feelings too you know.”
“But how do you know if it actually worked?”
“Um... Let’s give it some time.”
Such a precious boy. Everyone protect him, cause the witch hunters might get 'em. :3c
Asked by @meadow105
“Oh... em....”
“Did you cast this spell without an actual reason Hazel?”
“N-no!”
“My reasons is particularly... erm... I want to understand other worldly culture and see if monsters, humans, and witches get along there. For research.”
“Oh yeah, your god teaches science and prosperity.”
“Since we’re on the topic of research, I want to know about the death and destruction in the ‘other world’.”
“I FORBID THAT!”
Asked by @itslenatheartist
“I used a Medium Spell. It let’s us talk to other worldly beings.”
“So ghosts.”
“Other worldly doesn’t always mean the dead Brother!”
“Wiccans? We’re witches.”
“I believe in Belenus.”
“ ...I worship the White Lady.”
