— bond of flames ; seulgi & sunggyu

Coming across a demon who wanted nothing but to raise her body temperature to a much dangerous height, wasn’t something she had expected out of her day. Not to mention she still wasn’t used to her body being warmer than 90 degrees and looks like it was getting there and fast. If there was one thing she stronger felt a dislike for, was demons who thought they could try and get away with attempting to spill the blood of a witch, especially from her. Her long, blonde hair flew back like the direction of where the wind was blowing and her chocolate brown eyes had felt like they were lit brightly with her gaze nearing piercing the demon in front of her.
Seulgi was just as aggressive as the element of fire itself; she was a natural born witch and by now, it had seemed clear but demons weren’t always too smart, were they? She didn’t exactly know what her father was thinking back then, which had lead to his downfall, wanting to gain so much power from these creatures. Now she was overthinking herself, which wasn’t what she wanted to be doing right now. “Why don’t you come over here and strike me. Just try it, I’ll be nice and give you a chance.” She grinned with the feeling of wickedness that came with it, along with a small laugh. This demon had already made her angry and there was no way that she was going to let it slide; they should know the first time that she had quite a temper if provoked or pursued and having not the best control of her powers made her dangerous.
Seulgi ignored the clear jabs at her while the demon’ words didn’t faze her one bit, he growled as he started to charge for her, “Nuh uh...” She hummed; and with the flick of her wrist, the young witch had summoned the flames which quickly surrounded the two, trapping them inside like a wall of flames, which was exactly what it was. But before the demon could attack further, Seulgi slowly placed her hand inside the burning fire wall behind her as the flames burned her skin; she couldn’t feel a thing as the flames continued to form her whip which was tightly gripped between her fingers.
This made the demon stop in his tracks and for the first time in forever, Seulgi could see a glimpse of cautiousness and surprise in his eyes, which was exactly what she wanted the demon to feel once they could sense what she could really be capable of doing. She chuckled under her breath in amusement before speaking, “Can we continue or are you just going to stand there?” She was in no mood to play for too long today but she was going to give him a memorable death experience, because there was a chance that no one was going to remember him anyway. Not giving him any time to react, she launched her whip at the demon, binding him with it and pulling him forward towards her. With her free hand, she reached for the flames again, forming yet another weapon; a fire sword.
Seulgi ignored the stronger demonic aura that overshadowed them both; someone was probably watching but she couldn’t tell due to the large flames, which made it hard to see past them; she ignored it. She turned around again, gripping the handle of the sword with her other hand, “Unfortunately for you, tonight I’m not in the mood for games today. But at least you’ll die.” Seulgi looked into the demon’ eyes, seeing fear that finally began to reveal itself to her and she was satisfied; it was good enough. In the quickest way possible, her sword pierced through the demon’ chest, setting his body in flames in the process as the demon soon incinerated. And well after that, the burning wall started to die down, leaving her alone with the dead body nearly in ashes.
“Show your face before you end up like this one.” She spoke, in a more playful, childish manner like she always was; reaching for her flame sword. She wasn’t in the mood and yet everything else was right up to par.
