part of celyx's motivation for Fucking Getting quincy at the end of PYHA was a little bit revenge for quincy's carelessness fucking up a perfectly good torture ring lol

and in general celyx doesn't appreciate it when someone throws a wrench in their plans (they weren't thrilled when they found out about isaac being in the house with elijah and joshua, since they suspected he'd become a wild card. which is exactly what happened lol)

gosh there is so so so much lmao it'd be easier to list the things they like about each other. but to narrow it down:

luce: he cannot stand the fact that cairyx views him as an equal. He is Thee Hellstar Prince of Darkness Devil from Thee Bible and being treated with anything but grovelling reverence pisses him off so so so much

cairyx: thinks luce is entirely too full of himself and cannot fathom why luce refuses to see things on the interdimensionally cosmic scale cairyx does.

What do your OC and their LI fight about?

the fact that luce's apocalypse schemes keep failing, the way cairyx doesn't respect luce's (perceived) authority, luce's rage issues, cairyx's unfocused sadism, what they're going to do about the cael devils rebelling and especially what to do about joshua etc etc etc

Get your popcorn ready, because a paleontology student is gonna try to calculate the bite force, weight and speed of the spooky neon spiders (I obviously know that this may be inaccurate, since it's applying real world logic to interdimensional freaks of the universe, but it's a fun concept)

First of all, the animal with the closest height to 7 feet was the moose, with any other animal that I could find exceeding 7 feet, and the moose is around 6'9 on average, which is close enough

The easiest thing to calculate is the bite force. I could only find a moose's bite force in psi for some reason, but force means Newtons, while psi is for pressure, but luckily there are ways to convert one into the other, so a moose's bite pressure of 1,235 psi becomes a bite force of 856 Newtons.

It doesn't end here, because I actually tried to estimate how many teeth Cairyx has, but since all images of him up until now have his mouth closed, I simply based myself off of how many teeth animals with protruding canines have, and the realistic amount for a mouth the size of Cairyx's (that was weird to type) is of 64 teeth, twice the number of a regular adult's 32. Humans have an average bite force of 125 Newtons, so all we have to do is double that, which is 250 Newtons.

So, 250 N + 856 N = 1106 Newtons (which is almost as strong as the bite of a grey wolf) <- and even then, this could be just an average

Now, calculating the weight was far more complicated, because it involves muscle mass calculations, a.k.a how much natural strength the animal has access to bite down real hard, and I'm sure a lot of you are already tired of math from school, so I'll just skip to what's important:

The neon spiders probably weight in-between 250 and 400 kg (550 to 880 lbs), with the average being of around 325 kg (716 lbs), so along what medium-sized and large mammals weight

And now, the real headache: speed

A moose can reach speeds of 56 km/h, way faster than a human, but since we're talking about spiders, I decided to search for the fastest spider type, and that would be the Karaop spider, but I couldn't find any estimates on its speed, just the information that it can spin around itself in a 360 degrees circle multiple times at three times the speed of a blink

The speed of a blink is 150 milliseconds, and multiplying that by 3 gives 450 milliseconds. And I know what you're thinking "But it sounds impossible to convert milliseconds to km", and that's because it is, but milliseconds can be converted to hours, in this case 450 milliseconds are 0.000125 hours

360 degrees are 40 meters thanks to a really dizzying geometry calculation, and speed is a distance divided by the time needed to cross it, so we convert 40 meters to 0.04 km and divide it by the hours, which gives us a total of: 320 km/h, and this one is just when they're manifesting physically (they don't need a car, they are the car)

So, on average, a spoopy neon spider has a bite force of 1106 N, weights at around 325 kg and can reach speeds of 320 km/h
