Aurek’s reference sheet/ Griffin Polish Lancer pt#3
This took me soooo long to draw. It wasn’t even the griffin-half of him that was difficult, IT WAS THE HUMAN HALF.
Originally I wanted his eyes to be normal like all my other ocs, but it looked so wrong to me. So I spent 2 days figuring out what to do.
Not to mention all the details on his uniform… oh my gosh. I hate having to draw braids. The app that I use doesn’t have a braiding brush like Ibispaintx I just have to thug it out.
Don’t ask why he has to have two reference sheets for the two parts of his body. I COULD NOT FIT THE ENTIRE THING ON ONE CANVAS!! He’s a big guy.
Banter aside, I absolutely love how this turned out. Aurek is such a unique and beautiful oc, I’m so glad I was able to find a good color palette for him let alone be able to draw his entire reference sheet.
