My brain just remembered that it's mermay so I turned myself and a handful of my friends into mermaids
#realizing that i approached these designs a lot like i would a sea creature centaur instead of a mermaid#this just means that the lower half was meant to be as accurate to the animal as possible with the head essentially chopped off#instead of making a human with a nondescript fish lower half that is vaguely bassed off the creature#I honestly think i like this process better#though it may make some of the designs look stiff or inflexible in areas i like to imagine that the joining point it supremely mobile#transient orca#orca whale#epaulette shark#walking shark#whale shark#great white shark#mermaid#mermay 2024#centaur...?#furry artist#oc art#my persona
