#PowerPost👊🏿 #GlovesStayOn #TheStuggleContinues #JusticeForTheCentralParkFive #CentralParkFiveForever!!!!! #CP5 It would be so easy to dismiss you but for the opportunity of hearing it from the horses mouth, so to speak here it is. We, the so called #CP5, have never denied being in the park. I had on an outfit that was almost white. Both jacket and pants. I've been about 6'3" since I was 12 and had a flattop back then. I mention all of this because I would have been very easy to remember and recognize. My only mistake was being a witness, and not a participant, to the mayhem that happened that night. We never witnessed the rape and attempted murder of the Central Park Jogger Ms. Trisha Meili. She like you were led to believe we were guilty for 13 years until the truth came out. The detectives took our clothes and every possible DNA sample available. There was no evidence we were involved in any assaults. And the truth is we were not. It was truly a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I never made a written or video taped confession. The confessions that were made were all inconsistent with anything that the forensic scientists knew about what happened. They were all deemed false and fabricated confessions. The public was truly duped into believing we were the culprits. Other individuals went to prison for assaults they commuted in the park that night. They were never a part of the CP5. The truth is out there. The lie has taken over the truth. We were not guilty then and we are not guilty now. The DAs office reinvestigated the findings from 1989 and produced the Nancy Ryan Report ( http://wps.prenhall.com/wps/media/objects/13023/13335893/downloadables/NYDA%20motion%20in%20Jogger%20case.pdf ) proving we were not the ones who did these horrible crimes. The truth is out there found also in the film ( http://www.pbs.org/video/2364990501/ ) which I encourage you to watch. It reintroduces the public to the facts in the case by showing you what you saw in 1989. The justice system is not infallible neither are police officers. They mad a horrible mistake and we paid a horrible price. #JusticeForTheCentralParkFive!!!!!!!
