hey for everyone talking about jury nullification etc etc: it only works if you lie and say you dont know what it is. if youre chosen for jury duty and they ask you if you know what it is, you say no. here's an article going more in depth, and here's the cgp grey video about it.
like. just so we're clear, it's good to know about, but if you go into a courtroom and start talking about nullification, you could very well have voided your place on that jury. be smart about it 👍
is this anything?
EDIT: was NOT expecting notes on this thing but some people in the comments are (rightfully) berating me for not doing jury duty. So hopefully at least a few people see this edit lol. I forgot to specify when I first made this that it’s entirely due to anxiety. I would LOVE to do jury duty and generate change and all that. Unfortunately, I know myself well enough to know that I would have several severe breakdowns if I was a juror. But as I don’t want to reveal my medical history to people (especially if I don’t think they’ll listen), I plan to just lie. That’s what the first part of this meme means lol.
the anti woke italian american gym bro did more good for society than liberals on twitter ever will. If you wanna take back your support for him just because of some stupid tweets you need to step your game up, go kill a CEO and get back to me.
There’s something weirdly almost heartwarming about how 99% of us have come together across platforms, across the political spectrum, united in saying fuck the UHC CEO and his brethren. Maybe class solidarity IS possible 🥲
Healthcare is basic human rights. Healthcare should not be exclusive to only the rich.
honestly? yall Americans should be out on the streets. Throwin block parties, blasting crab rave, parting and dancing and visibly celebrating the Untied CEO assassination. Make it absolutely clear that yall are happy about this, that the gunman has your support, and that CEOs, particularly of companies that do active harm to your communities, should be scared.
when Thatcher died, the Brits partied in the streets and got Ding Dong the Witch is Dead to the top of the charts. Bring that energy back.
