Nootropic update
So, I've been taking Noopept and CDP Choline on and off for a couple weeks now. I have to say, that it's a very subtle, but a positive effect. Unlike the aniracetam I tried last year, Noopept does not cause me any headaches and I hardly notice it's even working, but can tell you that by the end of the work day I don't feel tired and I'm generally more talkative and focused than usual. I have felt subtle memory strengthening which is different than my experience of my memory worsening with the use of aniracetam.
I have taken Noopept after eating every time. I tried one night to take it at 4pm without food and my stomach was irritated. I did not, however, get a headache. So, I would suggest you definitely take it with food.
Some Nootropic adventurers have said that the effects are too subtle. I would agree that they are subtle, but they are important since they work and gnerally make life a tiny bit better.
I've also not been taking Noopept every day. I've taken the weekends off and even a few week days. I have noticed that the days i do not take it, I'm a little foggier, more tired and forgetful. However, I don't think it should be taken every day. I have a strong feeling that the body would become used to it if you took it every day. Thus, negating some of the positive effects.
There is another Nootropic I am curious to try: Cerastim.

I read that Ray Kurzweil is taking this every day. Now, I'm not one to just do something everyone else is doing, but after reading about its positive effects, particularly with memory enhancement, I am curious to know how it does as compared to Noopept.
To sum up: I really like Noopept, but will probably try Cerastim once the Noopept supply runs out (two month supply). And then depending on the results of that trial use, will either go back to Noopept, or move on with Cerastim or yet another Nootropic.
Cheers!
