Traditional dental crowns required multiple visits to your dentist. Your dentist would create an impression, which was then sent to an outside lab. You would need to wear a temporary crown while waiting for the lab to create and then ship the dental crown. Once the new crown had finally arrived, you would return to your dentist to have the crown placed and bonded.
Our North Scottsdale practice has eliminated all of these steps through the use of CEREC technologies. Your time is valuable, and we can make the digital impression, design the crown, mill and polish it, and place and bond it all in a single visit. Everything is handled right here in the office.
No outside labs, temporary restorations, or multiple visits are required. The usual appointment for same-day crowns takes less than two hours, which means that you can return to your busy day after the crown is placed.
