Cerilad | Virtuoso

Cerilad is a sylvari that was brought up by Norns. He has a strong love for mead to a point his attitude made him look like he was perpetually drunk. Carefree and with the tendencies of not taking anything seriously, caused him to constantly get himself into all kind of trouble - even after joining the Vigil.

The death of his mentor, Forgal was a harsh blow on Cerilad. His sorrow surfacing whenever thoughts of the old grumpy Norn would come up. Cerilad would quickly drown it at the bottom of a mug of mead or seek comfort in some...unconventional places.

The ordeal against Mordremoth is where things took a turn for the worse for Cerilad. Eir's demise was another blow Cerilad had tremendous problem coping with but what made him give up his ranger ways was the corruption of his beloved animal companion by Mordremoth.

After the Jungle Dragon's defeat, Cerilad withdrew from everyone company for a long period of time only to emerge back changed. No longer was he a Ranger, he was a Mesmer. It's a bit of a surprise how he even managed to learn something this complex on his own.
