which character got you into homestuck? i mean i want to assume kanaya, but
It was karkat. My ex wanted me to read homestuck and I tried but it just didn't catch on with me. He sent me a video about it and in the recommended was a video with the trolls. (The video is gone now, unfortunately)
Anyway I was like wtf and clicked on it. It was sollux, karkat, and terezi doing some pose thing to a vocaloid song? Idk but karkat looked so cranky the whole time and yelled at terezi and then he would look kinda happy and I was like there it is. Cranky asshole with a heart of gold. That's my favorite character trope. Oh god now I have to read this stupid comic
I told myself I would read until I got to that character's official introduction and if I still didn't like it, I would quit.
The more I learned about karkat the more I loved him so by the time his intro came along I was in deep.
Plus he's short and angry so....... yeah I have a history with liking short angry characters (.......invader zim.........)
