Steve's holding a picture of Peggy from the funeral which was a month ago now. He knows that there's no time limit on grief. That he doesn't need to feel pressured to just stop feeling things, that's what the SHIELD counselor that he'd been reluctantly seeing told him but he can't help but feel embarrassed when Tony catches him in the living room on the couch, staring at a picture of who she once was, shaken by quiet sobs.
"I.. I'm sorry." He stammers, trying to wipe away at the tears that just seem to keep coming no matter what he does in an attempt to staunch them. "I hoped the TV would drown it all out. I'm fine. It's o-okay, Tony. D-don't worry."
