perhaps the funniest doctors note ive ever gotten is when i was a kid and had a ct scan of my head to plan for surgery and the doctor wrote in his notes i had an "unremarkable brain"

I just remembered this and it’s so sweet that I wanted to talk about it <3

I’ve cf and I’ve also the sweetest bf. We went to the glucose test, and I already have a horrible panic-attack level fear of needles. So.. yay. /sarc but, again, I have the best bf ever. I had just recently started watching Castlevania at this point and was hopelessly falling for Alucard. So my boyfriend told me, before we got back in the room, “you’re nor getting poked with needles today”

and I looked at him all confused like, “what.” He then continues to tell me, “you’re just meeting up with Adrian. He’s really hungry. So, he’s going to wash your skin off (antiseptic wipe), blow on it (cold spray), and then bite you and feed from you (blood draw).”

and, at this point, I was already like “fuck. I’m dating a genius!” He then finished his little story and told me, “then, after all that, you’ll eat the food he made for you (glucose drink thing). He’s not really a good cook, so it *will* taste bad and you will have to pretend it doesn’t, because if you complain about his cooking, he’ll get sad. Do you wanna make him sad?”

and I shook my head, obviously. So, once in the room, he repeated every little step in my ear while the nurse is doing the step. Durning the second blood draw he did the same thing, and told me that “Alucard is *still* hungry because all the blood you gave him went straight to his dick and now he has none (again)” which worked stupidly well.

just wanted to share that, because he’s so good to me.

ive currently got doctors appointments every week this month except the last 👍 love my body

god i hate my fucking body. every time i get new meds or change my existing ones its another game of wolves/goats/cabbages to figure out which ones i can take together and when i will take the other ones if not with the rest of my meds. add in certain meds can only be taken at a certain time of day and it's ridiculous.

can't wait to get the bill from my last hospital visit. gonna be at least $1k i'm sure. and it wasnt even helpful my doctor was like "hm idk let's do some tests and that should help clarify things" then the results come back and she straight up tells me "yeah im even more confused now than i was before". thanks for fucking nothing i guess.

suddenly having a very bad pain day and the naproxen isn't helping nearly as much as I hoped it would. i hate it here (inside my body) 👍
