Strength Volume/Deload Power Clean @ 85# - Need to stop muscling them up
WOD "Fran" 21-15-9 Thrusters (65#) Pull Ups (2xred/Purple Band) Time - 10:31
So I completely broke down during the WOD. I had an anxiety attack after 10 pulls in the first 21, MAJOR attack but I kept going. I wanted to quit and I did start tearing up and nearly crying in front of my trainer. I felt embarrassed but he kept pushing me to get done. I need a do over.
I did stay for open gym and worked on some movements for the competition in 2 weeks and talked to my team mates on strategies on the WODs posted.
Crossfit - 08.18.14
Warmup 15 Minutes of whipping myself trying to get double unders. Noticed I was not jumping high enough
Strength Snatch Complex 3RM @ 80#
WOD AMRAP 3 Clean & Jerks @ 95# - RX'd
Score - 17
Trying to get myself back into the groove tonight. Things that I've noticed:
I get lazy when I know I can muscle up a weight and it screws up my form
I am really not jumping high as I thought I was, need to work on that to get that damn rhythm
I have been doing strict pullups wrong all along, got it fixed though
I need to work on my flexibility for handstands to kip up
I need to put 110% in all my work outs and it will hurt but I will feel better later
My mother insisted on me doing pull ups so she could take pictures of my back. I'll take that as a compliment 😊💪 #cfkb #pullups #crossfit #nike #fitness #muscles
Between health problems, birthdays and baby snuggles in the past couple of weeks, I am ready to get back into a training program. I just signed up for my second Crossfit competition in a month. Let's do this.
