I know this should be a big, dramatic moment but considering the amount of people on Egghead that have already survived one buster call (between most of the Strawhats and Lucci/Kaku) and Robin who's currently on her third, it kind of lessens the impact a little.

And I know this is supposed to again reinforce that Kizaru is actually conflicted over what he should do here but I continue to reserve judgment until he makes that decision.

Sanji (himself a victim of genetic experiments that he had no say in and never wanted) being the one to protect Kuma and Bonney from Saturn is so perfect and while I don't expect him to stand any sort of chance, this moment is extremely good.

At this point I'm really not sure if Kuma's able to process anything other than his desire to keep Bonney safe, but just like when Vegapunk told him he was a hero to Bonney, Bonney saying it herself is just more validation for the kind of person that he is.

And of course we get half a statement from Vegapunk and then he never finishes it, so who knows what sort of special abilities Buccaneers have but him later saying that 'love' was the reason Kuma was able to bypass the total shutdown is probably valid, too.

And like...part of me thought this might happen after Kuma started warping himself around, but seeing them finally reunite and getting to hug again, even in the middle of a battlefield and even if Kuma's consciousness is barely there anymore, is so important.

Yeah, this was immensely satisfying.
