And THEN Chopper, while crying with relief, calls him アニキ/aniki (big brother), just the same as the Franky Family used to.
The Japanese word for 'kneecap' is 膝の皿/hiza no sara, which literally means 'knee plate,' hence why Cindry tells Hogback she'd like to smash his kneecaps.
