Okay so he got me. He is caressing Yoruichi's hair while calling her adorable. Thank you Kisuke for this information now I can confidently say these two have or had something going on. Love that Luffy tries to pronounce Law’s name exactly one (1) time before giving up completely and resorting to トラ男/torao. The kanji 男/o when used in a casual/nicknamey way like this is like ‘dude/guy’, so if you translated this directly it would be like, Tora-guy, I guess? Sounds better in Japanese.
And within this chapter we have Law helping out the Strawhats and then it being revealed that he’s on friendly terms with a guy who’s apparently building weapons of mass destruction, so again Oda’s keeping his true intentions very murky.

Obviously, knowing what we know about Law now, the concept of owing somebody his life is one that’s very important to him so to hear somebody direct it at him seems to be something he has no idea how to react to.
