I’m actually most amused by Drake and Hawkins standing back there just like ‘...’ but it’s been a very long time since Sanji and Zoro have been in the same panel in real time... like... well over 200 chapters, I think...
This is actually very reminiscent of Sanji’s brothers, though in that case they were intentionally modified to be emotionless while here it just happens to be a presumably unintended side effect but given Judge and Caesar’s past, it does make you wonder...
Quick theory putting out there.
In punk hazard law removed the effects of the addictive toxin candies from the children right? Couldn't he technically do the same to the people who failed smile fruit experiments and effectively bring back their ability to express their lost emotions? I don't know how this works but since it's man made it maybe could be done by law or if we ever get around to someone genius like Dr. Vegapunk maybe he could try it?
