lucas knew cassie was right and when he finally admitted to cassie that he loved jane, he took cassie’s advice and went to go see her. he if caleb was there then he wouldn’t let her anywhere near jane and he hoped that maybe caleb wasn’t around and she would be easier for him to get to. he got to the apartment and he stood there for a few seconds before knocking on the door and his heart felt like it was going to explode. “fuck...” he mumbled to himself and when the door flew open and he saw it was caleb, he froze. caleb shook his head and started to close the door but lucas pushed it back open. “no, no wait! i need to see jane.” caleb sighed and didn’t move from where he was standing so lucas couldn’t even see jane. “she doesn’t want to see anyone.” lucas kept his hand on the door and caleb continued to glare at him. “then she can tell me that herself and i’ll leave.” caleb narrowed his eyes at lucas. “she’s asleep.” lucas groaned, he was getting frustrated and he pushed the door open even more. “then i’ll sit here and wait until she’s up.” lucas started walking inside but caleb pushed him back. “you’re going to turn around and walk out my door and leave or the police can take you out.” lucas hesitated, the last thing he needed was the cops called on him but he kept hearing cassie in his head telling him to man the fuck up and try. “i’ll wait for the cops then.” caleb grabbed onto lucas’s shirt. “do i need to kick your ass again?” lucas stood his ground and he pushed caleb’s hands off him. ‘fucking do it then. i’m not leaving until i see jane.”
