Oh boy... he hadn’t expected this. He never got stuck when it came to notes, to music. It was as if his native tongue had failed him, and he was beyond frustrated, as demonstrated by the angry way his pencil scribbled across the scrapped note. He stared stumped at his papers, the illegible scribble making no sense to anyone but himself as his other hand that held the pencil hovered in front of him, as if conducting and invisible orchestra. His eyes fluttered closed for a moment, before they popped back open and he turned to the nearest person, “Excuse me, would you mind... what sounds better now, listen carefully--” he cleared his throat and hummed a soft melodic tune before it went into a dramatic crescendo and silent again, before he held a finger up as if to say wait, “Or...” clearing his throat again, he began with the dramatic note before dulling down into the quieter note. When he was done, he looked at them expectantly, eyebrows raised as if silently asking their opinion. “Bien?”
