Soooo finally worked up the courage to "ask". Well tell because my friends just dont understand the point of IF'S 💔.

But basically MC becomes self-destructive after maud death. And is constantly reliving memories of her with maud. She's filled with regret and wishes she was nicer (she only became a good older sister after losing her sister for the 3 years) only stays morally good because of Uncle Ben and Aces mom ( I love that woman sighh).

Also is Ben an actual blood relative or a family friend. If so why didn't he come for maud and MC when their parents were still alive?. And why am I just now finding out K was maud partner... I thought it was another relative or guardian figure. ( the only thought keeping me sane is that both MC and Maud were queer like..they could have bonded 💔)

So Ben is Dee's bio brother! Who said anything that the parents are dead? xD They’re very much alive, Dee just hated her family and cut off all contact after she and Ivo moved to Sordia. Ben actually tried to find her, spent years looking, and got nowhere. He didn't even know he was an uncle until MC called him kinda out of the blue (my Patreon subscribers already know what I mean👀). Maud and Kai were a loose on-and-off thing, nothing too defined or serious. But in the prologue Maud was debating if she should to confess and take their relationship to the next step because Kai has always meant a lot to her now she can’t oopsie
