No Room for Contradictions

Although he’d wanted to personally take care of Gedouin, it looks as though his illness doesn’t allow him even a second to use his power without keeling over afterwards.

However as concerned as his subordinates are for his well-being, he reminds them that there isn’t time to worry about the small stuff as they’ve already made quite a show in declaring war with his brother, Samael ((Mephisto)).

And as they continue to press onward to their base to prepare for their next venture, it can be assumed that what they are doing now is not simply reciting the oath of their organization, but using a simple yet complex form of aria to help strengthen their leader.

But despite how seemingly ill he is, odds are he is not to be taken lightly, as he had once told them that even in his condition he can easily overpower Rin if they should ever clash.

After the complete debacle that was made in the Inari Lab Branch, Lucifer and the higher ups didn’t take very long to high-tail it when the True Cross finally caught wind of their recent activities.

Having already realized earlier on that the experimentations that Gedouin was performing would end in complete failure, the only rational option was to abandon everything there and erase all traces of their future plans.

Perhaps had he shown even a lick of sense and was less prideful in forcing things to go his way in the hopes of obtaining Lucifer’s attention, he’d probably been shown a more merciful and light punishment that would allow him to live for a bit longer.

However getting word of his actions through Shima’s reports, Lucifer had come to the conclusion that there wasn’t any more value in one who chose to act on his own desires instead of listening to the orders that were given to him by his superiors; not to mention the fact that he’d been purposely withholding information that clearly showed that his work was completely defective.

For one who’d looked down on humans with such repulsion, it seems like a befitting and pitiful fate to be given the same treatment by the one he holds in high regards who reminds him before his demise that what he had done is nothing special, and that it only proves that he is but one of many who are stupid and cruel.
