OMG thank you!! 🥺💖 actually had to consult the ancient texts (my manga) for these ones - it's been awhile since i've read/watched them! ⭐

Rabi~en~Rose (Di Gi Charat):

favorite thing about them: her design!! she's bunny with dice in her hair!! all the girls koge-donbo designs are so fun!

least favorite thing about them: nothing?? she's literally perfect 💖

favorite line: ok i flipped through the manga briefly and found this panel. she's such a goof lol, i love the way she gets smug even though her insults aren't shit 🤭

brOTP, OTP, nOTP: obvs i really love the friendship/rivalry she has with dejiko! i don't have any ships for her though 🤷

random headcanon: i have no basis for this claim but i feel like she might have been the blueprint for misha (pita-ten) in terms of design (pink hair and bunny motifs). and her personality reminds me a bit of misha's sister, sasha. ⭐

unpopular opinion: she's such a niche character i can't imagine anyone having strong opinions on her, unpopular or otherwise lmao

Lag Seeing (Tegami Bachi):

favorite thing about them: HE'S ALWAYS CRYING! 🥺 that's a mean thing to say...but i found it to be super refreshing for a shonen protagonist to be so open about his emotions! it's part of what makes tegami bachi feel so...heartfelt. i wish we had more shonen protags like him. i also like how he's so polite and gentle. 🥹

least favorite thing about them: hmm it's hard to think of something i dislike about him...his flaws are part of what make him a good protagonist. even if i were to say he's too trusting or too naive or too self-sacrificing, those are all just traits that are central to his character. i think, maaaybe, he's a bit too protective of niche or sylvette at times (considering their own strength), but even that's moreso a nitpick about how ladies in shonen are treated as a whole and less of a reflection on lag's character. 🤔

favorite line: not specifically a line, but i really liked this moment in the manga, where he starts to doubt whether delivering a specific letter is worth it:

brOTP, OTP, nOTP: i don't have any ships for him. i love his friendship with niche, sylvette, and the other bees! 🙂‍↕️ i think lag/sylvette is probably the "canon" pairing, but i think lag/zazie was popular too? lag/gauche or lag/roda are a no-go for me though! 🤷

random headcanon: when i read it the first time, i thought lag and gauche were related lol

unpopular opinion: when MHA was first getting popular, sooo many people were praising it because the main character (idk his name) cries a lot. i've never watched it but it made me annoyed that people treated him like the first shonen protag to ever shed a tear when lag seeing has been crying every day of his life but nobody knows who he is! 😭😭

favorite picture of them: literally impossible to choose because hiroyuki asada has some of the most GORGEOUS art in manga but here are some of my personal faves!!
