Poor Aizawa. First, his class gets attacked and he nearly dies. Then his class gets attacked again and a student gets kidnapped. Then thenraid where he promises to look out for Midoriya and ends up not being able to. Then, he finds out his best friend's body was turned into a nomu. Then he goes into a war where he loses his eye and leg. Then his student goes rogue for a few months and he can't do anything to help. Then he finds out another student was the traitor all along, but he's gonna stick by him cus at this point, that's HIS fucking kid. They all are.

Sometimes I look at crazy panels like this, with all the destruction and tiny detail, and remind myself that one man and his small team of assistants had to draw all this in less than a week

Y'know, I'm biased because I was already on the villains' side but I'm p sure this image alone would be enough to make me go villain

This is a child. A terrified, lonely child who never had any choice, who's been manipulated and used by a man he never stood a chance against, but instead of being treated with compassion and reassurance, he's been restrained and muzzled like an animal. He's clearly feeling guilty and scared, he's not dangerous. This image makes me want to hug him and free him and tell him that it'll be alright, and then grind into the dirt the faces of the people who did this to him.

Fuck anyone who would treat a vulnerable child like this. The villains are right to not trust them to protect them.
