Firestorm at the Table - Bonus Round: Clubhouse Favourites
Thanks for sticking around for my board game ramblings, folks. As one last treat, here's five of the games from Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics that I like to play on Switch. When this first came out, we were engrossed by all the little games, many of them we've played before IRL.

For such a simple game of stones and pockets, this one is quite enjoyable, especially when you're able to combo stones into your store. No wonder this one's been popular for over a thousand years (or maybe even longer, i forget)!
Blackjack
I'm not a gambling man, but this easy to grasp game is nice to pick up every once in a while. Just don't expect me to take this luck all the way to a casino... I'd bankrupt myself not even 10 minutes in.
Billiards (or Snooker, if you prefer)
Ahhh this takes me back to the days when dad and my brother played our hearts out in good ol' 8- and 9-ball on our old table. A delightful test of skill, patience and whaddya mean the cue ball just bounced right into the side pocket?!
Hanafuda
The game that brought Nintendo big business over a century ago. After playing so much of its clone on Neopets for years, I finally had the chance to play the game that inspired it. And man, is it a fun game. Now I see why Japan loves it so much!
Takoyaki
A quick and simple card game based on a beloved snack from the streets of Japan and beyond. Not only did it become my all-time fave in this collection, it inspired me to try the real thing. And mmmmmm-MMM is this stuff good. Thanks, Clubhouse!
