Hey i saw you made a post abt bash from glow and tagged it as mlm. So is that confirmed? To put it colloquially i have no gaydar. i did hc him as gay/bi, but his reaction to his friend/butler/partner's? death had me confused

both in the show and by way of cast interviews it has basically been confirmed that he is gay. There is quite a bit that needs to be inferred but I think if you are able to catch on the show creates a clear picture.

*spoilers*

In the show Bash’s friend/butler Florian, who is revealed to be gay, dies of AIDS related causes which seems to prompt Bash to downward spiral because of both his denial of his sexuality and grief of losing a close friend that he likely had unspoken feelings for. Bash created a weird power dynamic by making his friend his butler, which he likely did in order to justify to himself living with another man. He seems to be deeply in denial which prompted him into a sham marriage with a woman that he pretends to have romantic feelings for. 

To me as a gay man I think the writers did a nice job displaying his denial and gay coding.
