Deciding to take the kids to the beach, Avery enjoyed the fact that the kids now had that kind of luxury. Instead of having to drive an hour out of the city through traffic to just get to some semblance of a beach, she could easily walk the kids there. It was a nice incentive to move to Santa Monica. Enjoying the view that she saw, she sat with Chaz and asked Bridget to take their picture. Of course Bridget being Bridget, she knew exactly what she was doing and immediately started instructing them on how to pose and where the best lighting was. Avery wasn’t all too sure where her daughter learned all of it but it was damn adorable. Once their daughter was done taking pictures, they were soon approached by a younger looking man, making Avery a little weary and pulling her daughter closer to her. She couldn’t help but laugh though at the man’s comment. “Oh yeah. She’s already a professional photographer,” Avery admitted and laughed. “We actually don’t really know where she got it from. I think it’s from all the youtube videos she’s watched.” x
[ x ] It was a family outing, all four of them out at the beach on a nice sunny weekend. A part of him had missed living so close to the beach, not having lived like this since before he even met Avery. Not that he disliked living in New York, but he had to admit, there was nothing like living by the beach. And it was great getting to see his kids experience a day like this. He and Avery were getting their photo taken by Bridget - who loved to do so and pretend like this was some high class fashion shoot. It always amused him the way she tended to direct them for a simple photo. He was smiling and staring at his daughter before someone approached them, clearly having seen the odd exchange going on. “Don’t mind my wife. Our daughter is a professional. She’s a prodigy.”
Oliver smiled at the family, even giving the little girl a small wave before he instructed Chewie to take a seat. He hadn’t learned that yet, so instead of actually sitting, he flopped on his back thinking Oliver was going to rub his belly. That would do for now. “Well, if she’s not doing it for a living now, she certainly could be once she’s older. Sorry, again. If this is weird. I’m a photographer myself. I couldn’t help find it amusing the way she instructed you guys. Now I haven’t seen her photos, but her instructions are pretty spot on.” He was looking at the girl’s parents at first until he looked down at their daughter. “Do you want to try your hand at a real camera?” Oliver lifted his camera and showed her. “It’s a bit heavier, but it’ll make your parents’s photo even better looking.”

[ x ] Out at the beach walking Chewie and taking photos, he paused when he saw a little girl holding a phone up to take a photo of who he could only assume were her parents. The sight was an odd one while also amusing. Oliver couldn’t help but chuckle as he witnessed all of this. The little girl, while trying to take a picture of her parents, was instructing them on how to pose and where to be, as if she were some pro on a photoshoot. He was even close enough to hear her talk about the lighting every time she tried to take a picture. Not wanting to seem like some creep on the side, he stepped closer and approached the family. “I’m sorry. I hope this doesn’t sound weird, but does your daughter take pictures for a living?” he joked. “She just seems to know what she’s doing.”
suddenly a picture, a diagram instead of letters and words. he looks around and puts what he sees on paper. a few hours later and he’s got a bundle full of working sketches. there’s glasses, different heights, widths, different shapes. water bottles, different styles of chairs. he plays a song on the background and gets pumped for more. he starts with some points around to show where the product is placed on the lease. he creates a line on the center, and then others. always vertical. from one point to the other end. windows, cameras, his console, scissors; all built on random shapes. the back and forth stroking of his pen. it’s the first time he smiles in days and he’s out of his room again. after dinner with the family, he says he’s going to practice his writing but he’s onto drawing.
design drawing versus illustrations. it sounds like a cage match but it’s not actually that. there are different ways of thinking. it’s more than just line quality, composition, such and such to make a beautiful drawing in itself. but what he’s interested in are the ideas, not so much the illustration. months later, he’s not satisfied with just a number 2 pencil. he buys a pocket brush pen out of his allowance money for school. it’s a brush tip, just like a regular paint brush but with indian ink. had to think before he drew and with a very, very light touch. he didn’t have a problem with it despite his heavy hands. he had it in him. more than anything, it gives his drawings a special flow. along with that was a sketchbook he was particularly protective of. all in all it was at least worth ₩110,000 which was more than he’ll ever get in a month. he had to save up for at least 3 months to get there so he thinks he’s the coolest kid with it that he’ll have it sticking out of his shirt’s pocket when he’s walking irregularly boastful down the hallways of the school.
later on, he becomes a natural in it. he develops the ability to visualize the drawing before making his marks. with mental pictures, he can draw without a photographic reference. he observed things all the time that he didn’t need to have a reference in front of him when drawing. he’s always collecting visual resources. he observed them carefully on daily basis, almost habitually. he studied images of all sorts and genres. it was worth it. the time spent, the money, the days he’d starve himself. there were the downsides to it, especially for a kid his age. 6th grade and he’s working for his own hankerings. but he didn’t care for those as long as he could smile.
he learned how to save but it was always for selfish purposes. always what he wants, always him. and it’s years later that he realized, it shouldn’t have been that way.
desensitized. the more he’s slapped, the less he’s sad. he cried before but the tears seemed to have drowned out when his left hand had turned red. seemed possible for his case. he learned from that; the slapping. grandmother gave him tough love. hyuntae’s was unconditional. a child like him with a nurturing mother and a father that genuinely cares, filled with nothing but love.
he writes constantly. day and night. he wrote in school, he wrote at home. he wrote more than he ever helped around the house. he held his pen more than he ever held a wrench. he lived in his room and nowhere else beyond. dinner was served and he’s locked up. not by anyone, but himself.
made out of some type of alloy. aluminum, probably. like what mercury does to the material, he melts. reasons mundane. he doesn’t look it but he’s soft. more like rubber, if anything. which was also quite resilient. explains for the rather idealistic mindset. a word from his mother and he’s turned upside down. a supporting case from his father, he’ll be worshiping him like an avid fan. they’re supportive but unreasonably tolerant so even then, he’s confused. he’s always been confused.
stars&crickets.
“listen! the stars are singing!” young hyuntae said in a voice as melodic as wind chimes while he tugged on the hem of his mom’s shirt with his tiny hands. who would’ve thought that those hands would be full of callous and blisters, and the innocent mellow voice would turn raspy in a matter of a few years.
“no, stupid. those are crickets.” his brother answered, peeking up from the book he was immersed in which talked of politics, law, economics. maybe just one of the three. either way, the younger was confused why he liked such boring matters.
“how did the crickets get up on the stars?” he asked in the most naive of manners. he was about 6 years and he’d only gotten an endearing laughter from his mom as a response. he never got an answer to that to this day but of course, he doesn't think it's the stars anymore even though he still liked to imagine it.
it was typical of brothers, the bickering, but what’s amusing was the wonder that comes natural to a child. hyuntae had always been a dreamer while his older brother, a realist. they were very different but very much the same. they were close yet apart. they were like twins except they'd drift from each other sooner than most siblings.
he's a family man but freedom was something of a necessity to him. he had his own thing. his own world. he built it first in his room; a miniature of a city he imagined his own to turn into when time comes, composed of mainly paper. then on their garage; a collective of metal sheets that make up for a utopian setting, and then an abandoned lot that was previously a factory; what became of a dystopian theme next.
but that wouldn't last. he neglected the law ever since. he knew nothing of it and he stayed away just because it reminded him of his brother. he's a bit spiteful but only because he loved him dearly and didn't feel it in return.
he was forced to demolish his creations which wasn't all that it was to him. that was his time, effort, sweat, some days of school he missed, and his parents' money most of all. to top it all off, he had to come home to bad news about his dad's business. he saw it coming but didn't want to believe it. he saw a hero in his father and he only imagined him going forward. realizing it was but a reverie had him shattered.
it was then that the dreamer started to fade.
Hunters vs. Wolves :Chatzy (feat. Calypso, Katja, and Ivan)
Nicky: Nicky kicked the door to the passenger side of Caly's car shut and looked up at the high school. A large, brick building that loomed like a prison. "Nope, don't miss this place at all," Nicky muttered under her breath before turning to Caly. "That's weird, I don't smell any--Ugh," She was cut off by the sudden faint smell of rotting bodies, and grimaced.
Calypso: Calypso rolled her eyes at Nicky's chatter, shutting the driver's seat door to her car and locking it, tucking her keys into her jeans pocket and looking over at the school. "I didn't mind it so much.." She trails off, frowning at the smell that comes over her and looking at Nicky, alarmed. "They weren't kidding, that's disgusting." She takes a few steps forward, and tries to pin point the smell from there, but she can't. "Okay, come on."
Nicky: Nicky scrunched her nose and hesitantly followed Calypso towards the building. The stench grew stronger and stronger, stinging her nostrils. "Jesus, Caly, this is disgusting," Nicky sputtered. The smell threw her off, and she couldn't even catch whiff of anything else. "How do we get in?"
Calypso: Calypso focuses on her question, her eyes scanning the building for a door, any door. The school was notoriously easy to break into, and she meant to take advantage of that. Nodding Nicky towards her favourite back entrance, she walks quickly, her feet crunching under the grass as she tries to listen for anything. "We can get in through here." She replies as they reach the door, the smell was just getting worse.
Nicky: Nicky crouches slightly as she walks. Breaking out of school was something she had loved to do. Breaking in? Well, this would be a first. She follows Caly as swiftly as she can, sticking to the shadows. The door wasn't quite all the way locked, since it was a backdoor, and they were able to slid in quietly. "Alright," Nicky whispered, sticking close to Caly and covering her nose. "So do we just look for the smell and get rid of it?"
Calypso: Caly steps inside the building, and the smell is easier to pin point, but it's still distant. At Nicky's voice, she turns to her and nods. "Yes, just find it and get rid of it... If it's something more alive than dead well, same thing. I really have no fucking idea what this is gonna be." She nods, wincing at the smell once more and beginning forward further into the school.
Nicky: Nicky has to rely on Caly, her alpha, because her senses were stronger, more keen, than Nicky's. She tip-toed through the hall slowly, inhaling just enough to try to get a sense of where the smell was coming from. After a few minutes, she turns to Caly. "I think it's coming from the storage room in the basement, are you getting that, too?" She asks. For some reason, she feels tense, and curls her fingers into a fist anxiously.
Calypso: Caly knows that her pack has to depend on her in situations like this, so she keeps her mind focused and eyes straight ahead, lifting her nose into the air every few moments, even if it was near painful to have to smell that rotting corpse smell over and over. By the time she's sure where it is, Nicky pipes up. "Yeah... But I'm not going down there without a little advantage." She tenses her hands, her claws growing quickly and then walks towards the door to the basement.
Nicky: Nicky smirks as she sees Caly's claws extend, feeling a little more relieved and somewhat excited. Her nerves melt away with Caly's confidence and Nicky lets her own claws come out. With a turn of her head, her canines flash, and she gives a toothy grin, following Caly down into the dark storage room. Whatever was down there could not be prepared for this.
Calypso: Calypso takes a deep breath and opens the door down to the steps, almost snarling as the smell grows stronger, but she has more restraint than that. As they get down to the door, she doesn't say anything, she just gives one final look to Nicky in preparation before opening the door.
Ivan: Ivan paces the cement floor of the high school storage room. He and Katja had received word earlier this week that there was an infestation of werewolves at the school. The school! He scoffed at the thought. His trusted silver blade rests in his hands as he glances over his shoulder at Katja. "They are coming. They must be," He walks over to his laptop, set up hidden in the corner. He had tapped into the school's security cameras and saw two young women sneaking around the outside of the school. "We are fighting little girls," He chuckles, pointing at the screen. A few moments later he hears the door to the storage room creek open. He shoots a look to Katja before arming himself with his gun and trusted blade.
Katja: Katja rolls her eyes at Ivan's words, not even bothering to comment. He had a habit of letting his head get to big, because Katja knew from fact that just because they looked like little girls, didn't mean that they couldn't fight like the rest of them. Resting the palm of her hand on the hilt of her Sai blade, a bubble of anticipation bursts in her stomach as the door creaks open. A cruel smirk worked its way onto her lips and she curled her hand around the weapon.
Nicky: Nicky follows Caly down the steps, feeling as though she may have heard something besides her own breathing and heartbeat. The smell is strong, definitely coming from this room. As they turn themselves around the corner, she sees they've come face to face with two very armed, very poised people. "Holy. Shit." She whispers, eyes dropping down to the knives, blades, and guns. Looks like they had been expecting Caly and Nicky. "Are we late to the party, then?"
Calypso: Calypso raises her head to look around the room, but her facial expression is anything but worried. Hunters, she should have expected it. But that didn't mean she was scared. Looking at them both, she raised an eyebrow. "I think these two think they're gonna kill us. I think they're wrong. Let's see who's right, huh?" Caly said before letting herself change, her head whipping to the sides as it changes. By the time she's done, her eyes are glowing red and she's ready to rip out throats. ]
Ivan: Ivan chuckles under his breath, spinning his long knife in his hand. "You are funny girls, but jokes won't save you," He replies, watching as the one in front's eyes glowed red. An Alpha. Her head would surely satisfy the hunters at home. Ivan doesn't wait for any confirmations from Katja, as he considers himself the more experienced and talented one. He leaps forward, decidedly taking on the Alpha and leaving the pup to Katja. He slashes his large knife forward, aiming for her throat, before kicking his leg forward to hit her in the gut.
Katja: Katja see's the girl's red eyes and her heart aches. Melanie was an alpha. Her Melanie. But Melanie is dead and she has a job to do so Katja locks her feelings away and let's Ivan think he's the better one. They wouldn't have won the fights they had if she didn't stroke his ego every now and then. Whipping out her two Sai blades that often remind her of the devil's trident, she smirks at the other girl and raises an eyebrow. "Game on, pup."
Nicky: Nicky looks at the blades the blonde hunter dons and sighs. She'd rather be helping Caly, but Caly could handle that obnoxious boy hunter. "Nice. They look sharp," Nicky muses, getting into a fighting stance. She changes quickly, her face shifting to look more wolf than human, and raises her claws. "But I have some of my own," she smirks and lunges forward, aiming to slash at the girl's arm. Naturally, she can't help but notice how cute she is, and Nicky almost feels bad about having to kill her. Almost.
Calypso: Calypso's fine with handling the male hunter. She had enough experience even as a pup with hunters like him, even with repressed memories of how she ripped them apart, she knew she could do it. Staring him down, she moves back, but catches his leg in her stomach, stumbling back and snarling. She lashes out with her claws for the arm that has the knife, trying to get as deep of a gash as she could. Limbs to weaken them, and then go for the more dangerous parts. If she could get him to drop the knife, she could easily tear into his throat with her teeth.
Ivan: Ivan grunts as his leg is caught by the werewolf. She's so hideous he wants nothing more than to carve his knife into her cheeks and watch the blood ooze to the floor. Her claws make contact with his arm, and he feels his own blood seep through his jacket. Katja couldn't see him so weak, and he whipped out his gun, loaded with silver bullets, with his good arm. "An eye for an eye?" he counters, firing at her arm that holds his leg and squirms free.
Katja: "Aw, you think you're little claws can do damage?" Katja coos before jumping back and slinging her blade forward, aiming to slice a cut along the girls forearm. For a moment, Katja can't help comparing the girl to Melanie. She'd seen her former girlfriend in wolf form twice, and each time she was like a moth to a flame. Here, now though, she can't help but be puzzled. Melanie was majestic, this girl in front of her.. she seems, well, interesting. Interesting in a way that Kat wants to know more but she forces her mind away from that. She has a job to do. Dropping to her knees, Katja swings a leg out and curls it around one of the wolf's ankles, trying to her to lower ground. Kat always had an advantage on top.
Nicky: Nicky cries out quietly as the blade makes contact with her forearm, the bares her teeth at the blonde. "That's right, I like it rough," She snarls through gritted teeth. She growls at her and jumps in time to not fall over, but stumbles slightly. With Katja on the ground, she has to act fast and lunges down at the hunter, snapping her teeth in her face. Close up, she's even prettier, and with a thin line of sweat at the crown of her hair, Nicky can't help but think dirty thoughts. No, focus, she reminds herself as she tried to pin the girl down.
Calypso: Caly howls at the bullet that's coming at her, she moves quickly and it grazes the skin, but it definitely makes contact, and that shit hurts. "That was cute." She replies, turning her head to the side from where she's been crouching after he got free. With a peek over at the situation with Nicky and the girl hunter, she growls again, turning her attention back to the male. She assesses the situation and figures her best shot is getting him from different sides, cuts in his limbs will wear him down. So she tries her luck again, forward at the other one of his arms. She could heal, and she could pick out bullets, she wasn't going to let these hunters do anything that would cause real damage to her pack.
Ivan: Ivan mutters a profanity in Russian as the bullet misses. It makes contact, but not enough to his liking. He turns quickly, his already wounded arm screaming in pain. He tightens his jaw and fires again, aiming for anywhere on her body. "Filthy abomination!" He cries out. The burning sensation on his arm clouds his judgement, and he's moving frantically. If he wasn't careful, he would run out of bullets soon. Then he would be in trouble.
Katja: Katja almost loses her concentration when she hears Ivan mutter in Russian. He only ever did that when he was on the verge of doing something drastic. But Kat couldn't help him. She had her on battle to win. As the pup snapped her teeth in front of Kat's face, thoughts and memories of Melanie flashed before her eyes that left a sharp pain in her chest. The pup could have been sticking her teeth into her heart and Kat wouldn't even notice. To distract herself from her pain, Katja grins up at the girl. "Only one problem," Her head falls back to expose her neck, "I'm better on top." Then quick as lightning, Katja stabbed her Sai blade into the girls arm and kicked her off of herself, taking two steps back in the process.
Nicky: Nicky screams out in pain, digging her claws into the shoulder of the hunter beneath before being thrown backwards as she was kicked off. Nicky snarled and growled again, rolling onto her fours, her yellow eyes alight with fervor. "I like it when a girl takes charge," Nicky said before dashing around behind the girl and swiping her claws out again before smacking her on the butt tauntingly. She liked to play around a bit, maybe it would psych the hunter out. "Nice ass, can't wait to sink my teeth into it," she grinned, getting ready to duck in case she would be slashed at again.
Calypso: Caly almost laughs at the name he calls out, like a psycho. They brainwashed all of those hunters, people couldn't possibly be born that hateful. "Why don't you say that without a weapon little hunter boy?" She replies, her voice husky. She evades another bullet and snarls once before reaching out to slash at him again, this time his shoulder. But she tries to get back before another bullet hits her. She's sure as hell not letting anyone take her down, and definitely not a boy.
Ivan: "Bitch!" Ivan hollers, dropping his gun as his shoulder his attacked. He could hear his father and uncle now, reprimanding him. Shouting at him, beating him, telling him to be better. Life for a hunter was brutal, but necessary. He thought himself to be a hero, a hidden hero. A soldier of God. These werewolves jeopardized everything. They were not God's creation, therefore, they were created by Satan. He jabs his knife out at her, eyes narrowed, aimed at her collarbone, then at her cheek. "You hideous monster," he hissed.
Katja: Katja hears Ivan's gun clank to the ground, and she almost, almost abandons the pup to help him. But her training keeps her here... it might have also have something to do with the playfulness that this pup was exerting. It reminds her of Melanie. Melanie, Melanie, Melanie. Shooting a feral grin towards the pup, her head quirks to the side. "If only this was ending a different way..." Katja sighed. She saw the way she crouched and decided she had to go in for the kill. The reality was dark and grim. One of them wasn't making it out of here and Katja still had a penance to pay. Grabbing her Sai blade and throwing it towards Ivan, Katja sent an apology to Melanie. This had to be done. She dived towards the girl and waited for the teeth to sink in.
Nicky: Nicky froze in confusion as her opposite gave her weapon to the other hunter-- while face-to-face with a werewolf. In the middle of a battle. But the blonde dove towards her and the urge to fight back kicked in. She rolled onto the ground with the hunter, grabbing her arms tightly in case she suddenly decided she wanted to fight back and live. "I'm used to girls falling at my feet, but this one takes the cake, Blondie," Nicky muttered, crouched over the hunter, her claws poised and ready to go. Killing humans was not on Nicky's list of daily chores, and looking down into the eyes of the gorgeous blonde, it was hard to... What was she thinking? Nicky lunged forward before she could stop herself, sinking her sharp canines into the tender flesh of where the hunter's neck met her shoulder. Blood gushed out, warm on Nicky's lips as she pulled away and went in again to bite her shoulder.
Calypso: Calypso flashes her canines at the boy. There was a little bit of fun in upsetting this one. She watches he drops his gun and then quicker than expected, his knife was at her cheek. Her eyes glowed a menacing grin at the knife near her cheek. One of her hands closes over the blade, and even as it cuts, she crushes her hand around it, trying to bend it. But then the blonde has drawn her attention, Nicky is biting into her shoulder, and her eyes widen in shock for a moment, confused. "Would you look at that.." She looks back at the boy and snarls. She knew that Nicky's bite wouldn't turn the girl, it had to be an Alpha, and she sure as shit didn't plan on biting him, not when there is a chance he won't off himself at the possibility. "Guess you're one woman down and probably going to die."
Ivan: Ivan's eyes widened as the werewolf unflinchingly curved her clawed hand around his knife. He had followed her gaze in time to see Katja sacrifice her blade to him, and he would have gone for it had she not beneath the pup. His throat felt raw, and conflicting emotions of anger (how could she be so stupid? She wasn't ready to take on a werewolf alone!) and despair (he loves her, he loves her, and she may be gone). Ivan's eyes grew colder as he turned to the werewolf. He cried out in rage, taking Katja's knife and swiping it at her then running towards the pup, slashing her face and coming to Katja's side. He took her hand, and spoke only in Russian so they could understand. "Katja, Katja, are you still with me," He said quickly. He would not cry. His hands were still cupped around her Sai blade handle, in case the werewolves came upon them. Surely, they would. "My love, stay with me. You won't turn, you won't turn," He turned to the pup and slashed at her again, screaming with rage.
Katja: Katja knew she wouldn't turn. The pup wasn't an alpha, and you could only be turned by alphas. But it was distraction, it was what she had to do. The blood felt warm and thick, at her neck and lights danced before her eyes. If she concentrated hard enough, she would see Melanie in front of her, smiling and whispering it was okay. "Melanie...." She whispers, eyes fluttering. "Melanie my love..." She murmured in English, not even bothering to acknowledge Ivan's words. She knew that Ivan loved her, but she couldn't love him in the way he needed, the way he wanted. Her heart belonged to Melanie.
Nicky: Nicky was pulled away from eating the blonde's face off when she felt a sharp sting on her cheek. Blood dripped down from the spot, and she realized she had been cut. By the psycho hunter Caly was supposed to be dealing with. He started speaking what Nicky could only describe as gobble-gook and she hissed at him. Ready to pounce, he swung his blade at her again, screaming. Nicky leaned back away and smirked. "Looks like your girlfriend had a thing for the v," She laughed, despite the cuts on her face. She dodged his last frantic swipe, trying to distract him enough to buy Caly some time. Time to swoop in and knock out these two hunters for good.
Calypso: Calypso watched as he lost his mind at the situation. That girl was going to die, and if he didn't touch her beta he may just leave it at death. If he didn't take it out on her pack member, she wouldn't rip her apart or worse - bite her. But he does. Watching him slash at Nicky feels like it's being inflicted on her, and her eyes widen in a rage that could match even his. "No one hurts my pack." Her head snaps over again as he tries to strike at her, and she eyes Nicky once before she's barrelling towards him, and practically throws the boy back, hard enough to keep him down for a little bit. She wastes no time, going for her wrist, she looks at the girl once before she sinks her teeth in. This would teach them both.
Ivan: Ivan can't move ask he hears not his name, but the name of that cursed werewolf girl from years before. The damned, cursed creature that had lured his Katja, HIS rightful property, into her den and soiled her innocence. Melanie. An ugly name for an ugly beast, and Katja's heart was too weak to fight temptation. "You...wretched...Whore." He spat, keeping to Russian. It was his native tongue, and in his fits he fell back into it. He looked at the pup, wanting to tear her apart, peeling her until she was inside out. She was an easy target compared to the Alpha, and as he went to cut her again, he was thrown backwards. He skidded across the cement floor, stained and slick with blood. Eyes widened as the red-eyes monster sunk her teeth into his Katja. "NYET!" He wailed, lurching forward with the blade. But he couldn't lift his arms enough, they were heavy with bruises, cuts, and gashes. He was weak, and crumpled to the ground as his wicked beloved was forced to succumb to the demonic treachery he designated his life to ending.
Katja: Katja didn't know what was happening. One moment she was almost with Melanie, almost home. The next, something akin to fire curled around her veins and she cried out because fuck, dying didn't happen this way in her dreams. She hears Ivan call her names, curse and scream. The blade crumples to the ground and then suddenly everything is black. For moments, it feels warm. Like she's in Melanie's arms again, feeling loved, safe and secure. Then... then everything is bright and blinding with clarity. Katja's eyes fly open and she gasps for breath, gasps because fuck her gums hurt. And that's when she realizes. She's been turned. She's a werewolf. Fuck.
Nicky: Nicky gasped and glared sharply at Caly once she pulled away from biting the hunter. "Well, fuck," She raises and eyebrow incredulously. "Jesus Caly, what're we supposed to do with her now?" She paused and looked over at the other hunter, slumped on the ground. He was rapidly losing consciousness, and since he was a hunter, he wouldn't tell normal people about what happened. Nicky jumps as the blonde awakens again and puts her hands up in the air. This is unchartered territory now, and she has no idea what to do. At least now, she has a more interesting hook-up buddy.
Calypso: Calypso stands, wiping her mouth of any blood. She's not going to drag this girl away now, even if she'd technically now on the pack, she's not going to force her. She looks at Nicky and shakes her head. "We're not doing anything with her, that bite is a gift," She directs that at the blonde girl. "If she chooses to keep it, she will find us, if not, then we have no more threat, and as for him, I'm sure he won't be coming back too soon." She walks over to Nicky, losing everything that makes her the wolf slowly, she reaches up to touch her face. "Are you okay?" She asks her, wanting to leave as soon as possible, but she wants to make sure her pack member is okay, if not, she'll have to hurt that hunter boy a bit more.
Katja: Katja hears the words, but she doesn't register them. All she hears, feels and sees is Melanie. Was her wolf born into this, or made this way? She has so many questions and they will never, ever, be answered. Sucking in a breath, Katja tries not to think about keeping the bite and letting it go. She promised herself a long time ago she wouldn't end her life, not even if she was turned. Her mouth opens to try and say something but nothing comes out. Instead she looks over to Ivan and smiles slightly. "Thank you..." She finds herself whispering. She was free. She was finally, finally free from his poison.
Nicky: Nicky looks down at the blonde, beginning to wake up, then back to her Alpha. While she was relieved that these hunters were no longer a problem, she couldn't help but wonder if there were others. They wouldn't have to worry, most likely. She slowly morphs back into her human form and touches her cheeks. At worst, they stung slightly, but they were healing. She nodded at Caly and rose to her feet. "Man, imagine the damage if Addy had come with us," She laughed softly, looking at the blood, the chucks of flesh, bullets, and general mess all over the storage room.
