Yeah, Tori wasn’t proud that she had never gotten the hang of sign language, but she was just glad that her friend still wanted to talk to her. To Tori, Allie had been such a sweet kid, and it was nice to know that had never really stopped- Allie had grown up and experienced a whole lot of living. But they still got on well. That hadn’t changed so much. This time, they were going to watch a truly terrible B movie that Tori had fished out of a bargain bin. While normally Tori mixed up her communication during these hang-outs between text and speech, she didn’t want to wreck the movie by talking too much over it. Did I get out enough snacks? Last call for chips, dips, pretzels, whatever before we start. Anything else I can scrounge up, or are you ready 74 and a half hours of literal horror in the horror genre?

"And then I dropped my toast butter side down. Like, I’m not going to follow the five second rule even if it’s on butter side up, but it’s about the principle. Crumbs, grease, and wasted perfectly good bread,” Yona complained with great passion for her fallen breadtheren. It wasn’t difficult for her to express all of her feelings when she spoke. “And it was the last slice before the heel too... Wait, do you like the heel?” She didn’t want to make a friend mad just because she was having very strong feelings about bread.

Chloe might not have realized she had a swooping problem, but select others might not agree. Nobody had told her in a way that really stuck that she needed to calm down, and maybe try out some more calming greetings than the one that she offered up to Adrian.

“Adrian Kim! I didn’t expect to see you here at all,” Chloe said as she rounded around the street corner and spotted the guy. Forgetting about her mission in the process, she dropped several clear bags of glittery rainbow tinsel all over the sidewalk. “Oh my goodness! I am so sorry about that. These sorts of things have a mind of their own, really! Where are you going? What do you think of these colors together? Isn’t a nice day outside?”

Annoyed that she was still having trouble with her stupid ankle, Joanna was sulking around the hospital. “I told you not to walk on it,” wasn’t her favorite piece of non-advice in the world, so she was doing what the doctor had a said a little too late- sitting on some random bench in the hospital that she had found and not doing anything to her stupid ankle which was walkable now. Sitting around did give her a good opportunity to do some people-watching. Some people she recognized, some she didn’t. Oh, this one she recognized- the guy smart/annoying enough not to play around with her fun. “Hey!” She stood up, deciding that was enough time protesting. “Guess you work here. On the clock, then?” Oh, she was definitely going to follow him around.
