He nodded at her suggestion to get some Kool-Aid. “Maybe it wasn’t exactly spicy,” Atticus continued. “It had a weird spicy-like taste. You know, it could have been the artificial ingredients. Now that I think about it.” He frowned, stopping as Tori grabbed one of his items of the shelf. “Do you make dinner a lot?” Atticus asked her. “Or do you usually order out? Just wondering, since you’re mostly getting basic stuff.”
“Spicy... That probably makes sense. I don’t really get food science, but it sure makes some interesting combinations.” Tori did not understand science-y science so much to begin with either. Eh, food science was probably a mystery to most people. “I usually make dinner. But since I live alone, when I cook, it’s like cooking for four Toris. Most of what I’m missing is the basics, honestly. I always run those down to the minimum and then have to get it urgently. Oh, but ordering out sounds really good right now... What do you usually do?”
