Who has been your favorite character to write?

I think it has definitely been Noah! He didn't have too much personality when I started writing 13 Laurel Road and it sort of blossomed naturally over time. It helps that he's similar to me in a lot of ways and different in very big, dramatic ways, so it's both easier and more fun to get into his headspace.

I also was writing from his perspective for like 3 months so maybe I'm biased, haha.

For some reason I can’t seem to draw lately, I’m just out of my groove. So here are some zoomed in thumbnail sketches of the main characters of my upcoming game (Noah and Quinn). I think I’m finally getting a good idea of Quinn’s design, this one is nailing their vibe right on the head.

Fun facts for Noah, Quinn, and Micah?

Noah is the kind of person who thinks that if he’s not married by, like, 28 he’s going to be forever alone (which is a big mood), but he’s also really picky about who he dates (which he will deny if pointed out). He is the king of self-inflicted problems basically.

Quinn and Micah are around the same age and they both grew up in Crosshollow, so they were in a lot of the same classes in high school. They may or may not have some history together, and they may or may not have left on less than great terms 👀

When you’re too tired to do work so you just make picrews of your characters instead 😅

Noah fun fact pls n thank u

Noah and a couple of his friends through work have been hatching a plan to build a nice cabin on a plot of land his mom owns, rent it out to tourists looking for a cheaper place to stay near Crested Butte, and then share the revenue between them. The catch is that Angie hasn't technically agreed to it, but he's 100% certain she'll come around to the idea. Probably.
