Also, I have questions about why the only gay characters in your games kill one of the straight couple... Fuck, don't touch the LGBT topic at all if you're crazy and can only lure a certain audience with such shit
ok wow you've been sending like bazillion asks back to back so ill respond to it once here and get it over with:
1. when have we ever used queer characters as a selling point. look through official download pages and any of the promotional content. not a Single mention about characters being queer and it being a queer story and there being romance and telling queer audiences to play it specifically for this reason. the games are also free so there's no financial gain for us from people playing it unless people who did play it personally chooses to donate and get merch after. you Need to search up what queerbaiting means holy shit
2. "Only gay characters" Are characters that aren't strictly gay not suddenly LGBT to you. i'm a bigender bisexual creator who's the "assume my characters are bi or pan if not specificed" guy. this is a studio with mostly bi-spec and aro-spec characters as main leads of their games. Bok-su's not even strictly gay she's aro-spec. "Straight couple" and Rody's bi and both Da-jeong and Myeong-hoon's bi. are we not "LGBT" enough.
I'm not gonna respond to queerbait asks after this I've said this multiple times and I'll say it for the last time: Sometimes characters just happens to be queer and and not all media with queer characters are strictly about their sexualities or romance. Isn't the goal of wanting more queer rep having us be normalized just as much as the cishet characters? Why do you want queer characters' story to only be confined to their sexuality and their romance? Why do you always want them to directly look at the screen and prove they're gay or else the creator's just faking it? You don't see heterosexual characters always proving they're straight or have their story always revolve around their romance and attraction. Why's the treatment different? Why can't queer characters just exist? Isn't just constantly putting characters on a spotlight Just because they're queer and only focusing on that its own form of limiting and ostracizing them? Why can't queer characters have their sexualities just be a natural part of them instead of it being their entire personality or entire driving force of their character? Why can't they be more?
also in an earlier ask you were talking abt how "making comfortable LGBT content is important" but why are you looking for that in horror games by a horror-centric game studio. we're Trying to challenge you and make you uneasy and uncomfortable while actually comforting those who's seen by these stories, that's the entire genre.
not all media is catered towards you and that's not a moral failing by the creator, we don't owe you anything.
if this isn't the type of content you enjoy then i suggest you try different games instead.
