“Ever since the day we met, I couldn’t get you out of my head.”
“Me either,” Reagen admitted breathlessly in the brief moment that their lips weren’t attached. Before either of them could say anything else though, their lips were attached once again. She honestly hadn’t been expecting this. When her car had broken down on the side of the road, she had been annoyed, a little worried and eager to get out of sight. She hadn’t expected to fall for the ruggedly handsome man who stopped and saved the day and her car. The whole reason she had gone away in the first place was to avoid life. She wanted a new start and to work on herself, but here she was, in love once again. Instead of being terrified though, she found herself with all those crazy, heart thumping feelings she had always wanted but never felt. It felt good. Almost as good as his lips. Then there were those hands, slipping under her shirt and caressing her skin. Shivers exploded all over her body, and she tugged him closer by the collar of his shirt, wanting his body completely pressed against hers. When he responded eagerly, she grinned against his lips and jumped, wrapping her legs around his waist. “Upstairs,” she murmured, her fingers tangling in his hair.
“You’re just a little bit out of my limit.”
“You’re a beater! Aren’t you supposed to be super in shape?” Ivy teased her girlfriend as they had to stop once again for a break. She knew that she had to give her credit though. It was a long hike. Especially for a place that they weren’t even supposed to be. Ivy was pretty sure that no one had ever ventured into the Forest this far. She wouldn’t have if she hadn’t gotten detention that one time. Normally, she wasn’t happy to get detention since it was usually boring, but since she had found this place … let’s just say whenever Slughorn got mad for her forgetting her potions homework, she wasn’t too terribly disappointed. As bad as the hike was, she was sure that once they got there, Nysa would appreciate all the sweat. After another few minutes of a break, they hiked for about five more minutes, and finally … “See? I told you this view was worth it.” She told her, pulling her girlfriend close. Ivy smiled out at the sight, the glittering windows of the castle, the onyx shade of the lake … everything was beautiful, peaceful, calm. Just what they needed, away from all the judging looks and catcalls. “It’s perfect. It’s away without actually being away, you know?” Ivy said, kissing Nysa’s cheek.
“I like the sounds you make.”
“When I slip and almost fall on my ass?” Ophelia questioned, a red blush on her cheeks as she looked up at him. She was way out of her element here. She had never been to any sort of dance like thing since she was in elementary school. Hogwarts didn’t have dances unless the Triwizard Tournament was going on, and since that fiasco with Harry Potter, that hadn’t happened. It was so weird to her when she thought about it. With dating a muggle, she thought she would be introducing him to so many new things, but it was turning out to be the opposite. Everyday she was learning something new in the muggle world that she hadn’t got to experience while she was inside Hogwarts. If she hadn’t loved magic so much she probably would have been disappointed. At the same time though, she was kind of enjoying learning these things with him. Ophelia smiled as he pulled her close, helping her get her balance a little better as they danced to the slow song that the band had recently started playing. “You know I’m probably going to step on your feet right?” Ophelia told him with a smile, squeezing his hand in her own.
“Tell me, is it even worth it?”
“What do you mean?” Rylee thought that they had been on the same page. Their best course of action had been avoiding telling her brother about them. That had been what they decided from the very moment they started having sex with each other. She hadn’t really expected it to change because they had a bit of a different relationship with each other now. Apparently Ezra did though. It wasn’t as if she wanted to keep it a secret from her brother. She wasn’t intentionally trying to hide it or make it seem as if she was embarrassed of being with Ezra because she definitely wasn’t. How could anyone be embarrassed of being with him? He was incredible. It was just that she didn’t want to deal with his reaction. Whatever it might be. She had always been close with her brother more than any of her other siblings, and she didn’t want him to be upset that she was seeing his best friend. Especially since she liked him so much. They were both a big part of her life, and she wanted it to stay that way. “I didn’t know you wanted to tell him …” Rylee rested her chin on his bare chest, basking in his warmth. “Don’t you think he’ll freak out?” She asked, drawing circles with her fingertips on his skin. “I don’t think he’ll be too happy about his sister dating his best friend.” Rylee said.
“I want you to want me this way, and I need you to need me to stay.”
Summer didn’t know what she had expected this night, but it certainly wasn’t this. In fact she hadn’t really known what to expect in the first place. She was still torn about this whole situation in the first place. She didn’t want him to go. She had grown so close to him ever since that moment that she had went to go yell at him in the hallway only to find a desperate new dad trying to calm his newborn. He had become such an integral part of her life that the thought of him leaving it just … she didn’t even want to think about it. Not to mention how attached she had gotten to Charlie. That baby girl was such an important part of her life. Every moment of the day she was thinking about her. She loved that baby girl like she was her own daughter. For that reason, she wanted the best for her, and maybe … maybe the best place for her was being with her biological mother? Summer knew that deep down, she didn’t truly believe that. She didn’t think a mother that abandoned someone could really come back and be a great mother. Unfortunately, it wasn’t her call. It was Meyers, and even though he hadn’t made a decision, she knew which one she wanted him to make, but she didn’t think he wanted her opinion. Until now. At his words, she stared at him for a moment before slowly nuzzling her face into his neck. “I do … I want you like this, and I want you to stay.” She said quietly, holding him closer. She pulled back though, looking into his eyes. “I just wasn’t sure you wanted to.”
“If you wanna take me home, you know I’m ready to leave.”
“I thought you were the one usually dragging me out of the room to have your wicked way with me.” Flora teased, but there was a note of seriousness in her tone. This was still such new territory for her. She wasn’t used to actually having a choice. Most of the time, she had just been ordered around. This wasn’t like most situations any more. She was’t going through the company, instead she was just personally with him. Flora was his … girlfriend. The word still sounded strange even just to think. She had never really been someone’s girlfriend before, and now she was. The more time she spent actually being his girlfriend though, the more she realized that she actually did like it. She liked the freedom that she had, but at the same time, she loved having someone to come home to every night. She hadn’t realized how much she missed having someone to cuddle at night until she started dating Knox. Early in her years, she had never really thought she wanted physical affection. The sex was fine most of the time and that was all she needed. She was wrong. She liked the feeling of being wanted for more than just sex. While it wasn’t something she was used to, she discovered that she really did like it. Every day she was more and more pleasantly surprised by just how much she was liking actually being someone’s girlfriend. “But I won’t object to taking you home. You know how much I like you in suits. I’m about ready to have my wicked way with you.”
“I’ll help you get over it.”
Ava let out a little laugh at his words, shaking her head slightly. The truth of the matter was that she wasn’t even that broken up about it. It wasn’t like either of them had really thought their short term relationship was ever going to go anywhere. It had just been more of a fun thing, but it still sort of hurt to get dumped. She knew that her reason for getting dumped was logical though. He had been jealous of Lucas. Not only the fact that she lived with him and had absolutely no intention of moving out of there any time soon, but she was constantly talking about him. She was talking about him the way that a girl that was in love would talk about her boyfriend. Of course, she was in love with him. How could she not be after watching the way that he treated their daughter? It was before that though. She was pretty sure that she had been in love with him since high school even though at the time she had absolutely no idea what that was that she was feeling. Now though … she was pretty sure she knew. While she wasn’t ready to admit it yet, she couldn’t blame Cyrus for breaking up with her. So because of that, she didn’t really care that much or was that upset. So when she looked up at Lucas, lifting her head from his shoulder, there was a little smile on her face. “Oh, really? And how are you going to help me do that?”
