An old friend from high school was killed by a drunk driver yesterday. My heart is broken for his family and loved ones. I can hardly believe it, and I feel so angry that so many people drive drunk and don't realize it's not just their pathetic lives we fear for, but for those innocent lives that are robbed too often by selfish, stupid people that get behind the wheel while intoxicated. I want to yell and scream and ask why, and I hope this man rots in prison and has to face the regret each day of how he killed such an awesome young man far before his time. Life feels so delicate at times like this and I'm so thankful for everyone I have in my life. I've lost so many loved ones these past two years, and though I haven't been as close to this friend since high school, I am still overwhelmingly sad by his death and the loss his family and my community take along with it. RIP CHAD DEAN. You will be missed. don't drink and drive assholes.
