Chaewon is so in love that just about anyone can tell so this is how she told the world

The camera was rolling, the lights looked good and the food was prepped now all that was needed was Chaewon and her boyfriend.
Chaewon stood in front of the camera, music playing lightly in the background - specifically a mix of HaZe and Got7. With a big grin she began.
“Hello everyone welcome to my kitchen. I am filming today for a big announcement. Okay so you kind of know the announcement anyway I’m in a relationship.” She said giddily. “I am very happy, we have been dating for-“
Chaewon looks behind the camera with her brows furrowed.
“A year.” A male voice sounds with a laugh.
“Yes a year. Thank you my love- anyway it’s actually our anniversary today.”
“So we are having our anniversary with you all.” He said again.
“Now you may be wondering why the love of my life isn’t on camera with me- it’s because I want to be dramatic, we all know how I am so now introducing the man I love, the man I plan to run away and marry- no babe you have no say in this- the man I will give my first born to….” Chaewon begins a drumroll with some chopsticks. “Mark Tuan or Got7!”
Mark let’s out a laugh as he appeared on camera by walking into frame. Giving Chaewon a half hug he presses a kiss to her cheek.
“Hi guys.” He says awkwardly. “I know this will be a surprise for many I kept this secret very hush hush.”
“You did good babe. After spoiling all our comebacks you’d think we would have told everyone after like a week of dating.” Chaewon said with a snicker. “Anyway welcome to my kitchen we will be making a salad because we can’t cook anything but ramen and noodles and we will answer some questions I’ve seen on my Instagram - Chaeee_1 it’ll be on screen - about our relationship.”
“Firstly I’m going to cut the carrots I don’t trust you with carrots.” Mark said pulling the chopping board closer to him.
“You throw one carrot at your partner and then they never trust you again I swear-“ she rolled her eyes. “First question, if this is true congrats but also how did you meet? Is he an idol or a normie?”
“We met at a live show. She had a whole Kdrama moment by running into me and it was like we slow-moed and boom our eyes met now she can’t get rid of me. Obviously I am an idol.” Mark nodded, giving his girlfriend a hip bump as she grabbed the grater and zucchini. “Next question- are you in love? Will you get married? Children? - this person is excited for our future more than us.”
“I sure hope we’re in love babe since I say I love you every five minutes.” Chaewon pouted. With a grin Mark poked her nose.
“I love you too don’t worry.”
“Yay!” She exclaimed while doing a little happy dance. “He loves me! Also marriage and children I guess are in the air still but uh- I would.”
“You guess? I take back all the romantic plans I have for 2018.”
“It’s only been a year I mean we don’t need to get married yet. It’s August 10th 2017 we have all the time in the world baby!” Chaewon says seriously as she put the zucchini in a bowl. “But I would say yes just for everyone’s knowledge.”
“Public or private proposal?” Mark asked with a laugh.
“I don’t care. You could make that carrot a ring and propose now. Though I think our bands would rather be in on it- gotta get that permission my love.” Chaewon joked. “I have one question- how did I get passed my dating ban? I guess it goes for you too. I didn’t really get passed it we just dated, faced the consequences when we told our companies after about three months of dating and here I am.”
“Same for me we just told the company and said look if it doesn’t work out no hard feelings but it’s working out amazingly and you can punish me if you want we aren’t breaking up- Not to say we had a terrible punishment it was just the most aggressive no one can know you are dating conversation ever:” Mark shrugged. “It’s fine now I think they appreciate our relationship as like a bridge between the companies or something.”
“Sounds right. I don’t see why idols can’t just date anyway like we are human, we deserve happiness too. And I for one am very happy.” Chaewon said giving her boyfriend a kiss. He grinned and kissed her back.
“Birdie the camera is on.”
The couple fell into a fit of giggles.
The video went on like that. As of August 9th 2017 SM had announced that Chaewon was dating and by the 11th the couple’s video had been uploaded and shared by all Duskies and Ahgase alike.
Some had wonderful things to say about the couple.
Some were less than wonderful.
But even still the couple has stayed strong even into 2021 when Got7 departed from JYP and moved on. Mark has gone back to LA to be with family for a while and it seems Chaewon has gone to visit- not for long as she has a comeback to prepare for.
Some fans have noticed however that as of April 2020 Chaewon has been seen wearing a very pretty copper ring.
Fans speculate it to be an engagement ring yet they have yet to announce anything about it.
