Go Won is a shy girl who never goes outside. Her mother is incredibly ill, while her father performs secret research in his laboratory in the house's basement, with the assistance of Maria, her father's assistant . Neither Go Won nor her mother know the truth of what he is actually doing, though both are curious to find out. Her mother dies later due to her illness.
Go Won awakens at midnight to find herself surrounded by test subjects that escaped from the laboratory and their tormented spirits. She also meets you, who her father experimented on. You're the only one who tries to help her escape the house and kill her father as well, under her mother's orders of course. And if you fail...
You wake up in the middle of a forest, and soon discovers that your only way out of the forest is completely blocked off by roses. Your only option is to enter a mysterious house nearby in hopes of finding some means of escaping. Accompanied by a black cat, you must try to survive this magical and dangerous house to find some help.
As you explore this house, you find scattered diary entries made by the resident of the house, who is later recognized as a witch. It talks of a witch, named Go Won, and her deadly illness and neglect as a child, which prompted her to become a witch upon forming a contract with a demon. The demon promised her that if she lets him eat more souls, the demon would give Go Won a cure for her illness. As you explore the house more, you come across a room...
