When shuake move in together, do you think Mona would live with them or go to live with Futaba or Haru instead?
Mona would absolutely live with them, because he and Goro have regular debates about human nature while Goro feeds him bits of fatty tuna. They also start a bookclub--in that Mona hangs off of Goro’s shoulder and reads along whenever Goro finds a new book to read.
Edelgard and/or Rhea, for the character question prompt?
How I feel about this character
I did not like her at first. I think I was fooled by my own mistrust and the nature of the way the story plays out where she can just vanish into nothing answering 0 of your questions depending on the route. The opening sequence with her had me SO INTRIGUED. Then, the kindly but clearly lying JRPG Pope thing wasn’t doing it for me. Then I saw some fanart and was like “hang on--”
Stabs her mortal enemies to death and cradles her bloody spine-whip-sword?
Deifies herself as a mechanism to protect herself and her remaining people?
Dabbles in a smattering of clearly unethical human experimentation (no matter how ~nice~ she is to the test subjects)?
Has healed several people WITH HER BLOOD that has accidentally(???) left them in her thrall?
Clearly, has not spent the last 1000 years working through shit?
and turns INTO A DRAGON?
Well. She’s checking all the boxes, now, isn’t she?
All the people I ship romantically with this character
None, really.
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I’m probably most interested in her relationship with Seteth and the other Nabateans, and her backstory relationship with Jeralt? I feel like most of my interest probably lies with her Seiros days, and I wonder what things she did to establish the church and spread the myths of the crest stones. She doesn’t get a lot of good interactions with anybody, it would be interesting to dig into her relationship with the Lords a little more.
My unpopular opinion about this character
She’s way less in the wrong than Edelgard is.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
So two things - the first is pretty straightforward, I’d love to get to SEE more of her backstory as Seiros or at the time when Jeralt was at Garreg Mach. Honestly, by the time we meet her, she’s kinda coasting. She’s also just generally underutilized.
The other thing, per my post earlier today, is that I really would have liked it if she got to flip the fuck out and tear her enemies limb from limb just a little more often, you know? The opening sequence was so good. And she kind of flips her shit and turns into a big dragon and that’s well and good and I’m happy for her but I feel like we could have gone in a similar direction with Rhea as we did with Dimitri and I think I would have absolutely loved it.

It's because they believe addiction is the result of "weak character" and therefore not deserving of compassion or understanding.
They think they’re pointing out hypocrisy or moral failings in people and don’t give a damn what that says about how they really view addiction. It happens to people you love and people you don’t. Don’t say you care about people with addiction or mental illness if you’ll happily use it to criticize someone you hate. Ahh! It’s horrible.
Actually, I'm pretty sure they're referring to the infamous localization of the first Persona game back in 1996. Not only was the setting changed to an American high school, the names and even the races of the characters were changed so as not to "alienate" Western players. I'm really skeptical there was ever a lawsuit, but fan backlash led to the following games taking far more care to preserve the original cultural context.
really weird that they would make that comparison then
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun!
never seen it | need to see it | hate it | ugh | it was okay | i liked it | LOVED IT | one of my faves
GSNK IS SO FUCKING CUUUUTEEEEE everything is hilarious and so sweet and light-hearted... i watched it all in one weekend when i was still living in los angeles and it was such a great pick-me-up
This is kind of out of nowhere, but have you ever read the book/watched the movie Gone Girl? I know you're a Ben Affleck fan and, among other things, it's a story about the antagonistic romance between two very morally gray individuals, so it seems like something up your alley.
I’ve meant to watch the movie for a while, but I get a kick out of hearing my mom rant about it. She hated that movie, and it’s funny listening to her without knowing exactly what she’s talking about. I know the basic gist of the story, though, and I’ll definitely watch it at some point!

Playmoss seems to be the new thing, from what I’ve seen.
thank you!
