Indulge in the rich flavors of chai with these decadent frosted brownies. The subtle spices blend perfectly with the chocolatey goodness, making them an irresistible treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 box brownie mix. 2 chai tea bags. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 2 eggs. 1/4 cup water. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 tablespoons milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Pinch of ground cloves. Pinch of ground ginger. Pinch of ground cardamom.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the chai tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the butter to cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, water, and chai-infused butter. Stir until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. While the brownies are baking, prepare the chai frosting. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and cardamom until smooth. Once the brownies are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan. Spread the chai frosting evenly over the cooled brownies. Slice into squares and serve. Enjoy!
