Drawn Runners 15 - Zeitgeist
This piece was commissioned by flashrekt as part of my Drawn Runners series, in which I adapt a pixel-art Chain Runner into a portrait in watercolour, gouache and a touch of digital. Flashrekt had some existing lore for their Runner, as a mysterious 'ghost in the code' sending out cryptic messages to members of the resistance and I came up with the name to fit. I picked a difficult angle to draw a spine at and sweated over an anatomy book for a while. I minted this piece as an NFT on Polygon, and it is currently held by Flashrekt. If it is resold, 10% of the price will be transferred to me as royalties.
