Loving the layers and the sparkly tights. I myself wore a pair this weekend and loved them.

This lovely lady was awesome b/c she told me about how she put her outfit together with finding a lot of deals, and a sometime making pieces on her own. For example, her sunglasses, she added the chain herself!

DIY - Chain Sunglasses 

I've been seeing these babies for quite sometime, and well, Coachella would  be the ideal place to rock these. What I love about these shades is that you can easily take them off and have them hang like a necklace when not in use. I don't know about you, but this will definitely lessen the amount of times I check my purse to see wether I dropped or misplaced my shades. PLUS, these are great for your 'clumsy' friends who are prone to loose pretty much anything of value at these type of events.  Ps. Since it's NEVER a good idea to bring things of value to music festivals, oped to pick up a few shades at the dollar store. Trust me on this. Happy Crafting! 

Materials:

Sunglasses (purchased at Dollar Tree)

Thick Curb Chain 

Thin Chain 

E-6000 Glue 

Jewelry Pliers 

How to: 

1) Begin by measuring, then cutting the length of your curb chain to fit perfectly across the top of your sunglasses.

2) Take your E-6000 glue and dab a decent amount across the top of your shades. 

3) Take your thick curbed chain and glue/secure down straight across the top of your shades. Allow to dry. 

4) While your glue is drying take your thinner chain and measure a distance of 24-25 inches, and cut. [This should be long enough to go around your neck comfortably, while allowing you to take it on and off with ease.]

5) Taking your thinner chain, using your jewelry pliers, open both ends of your thin chain and secure and close it around each end of your thicker curb chain. 

Voila, all done!
